I got 23 first try, definitely below where I want to be. I imagine every coming generation will be on average worse at these as their reliance on calculators and laziness prevails.

yeah, I know but somehow I couldn't figure it out fast on the fly. If I recall correctly I did it from the other way i.e. 990 + 55

tired of playing. def got stuck on a few random ones but i think i could probably top out around 55 on my A+ game. 60 is ridiculous.

Really impressssed, since I can't calculate fast. It's like my brain goes in slow motion, I see a hand stop me, and go "uh uh", then I have to wait 4-5 seconds before it fires up and lets me being to do the equation.

I do think smart people will generally score more on this than average people. However there is many types of intelligence... (you can be really bad at maths and be smart in other things)

LP are scoring pretty high but if you let random people on the streets pass this test, you would probably see many really bad scores.

I'd definitely beat Stephen Fry at this test but he's still orders of magnitudes smarter than I am.
Case closed on taking the implication of his comment literally.

What truly defines smarts imho is English words typed per minute on a keyboard since that makes me the smartest person on LP.
