Playing bad not sure where I'm going wrong tbh. My redline is 100x worse than usual I guess I'm giving up on pots a ton without realizing I shouldn't.. I felt like I was playing well through this session (the last 2k hands) and apparently I wasn't.
I guess I am not 100% following my thoughts when I play and a lot of people are disagreeing with my hands so.. guess I have to figure out how to fix it. Check my hand history for a couple of hands with a lot of posts/discussion if you're interested. Wouldn't mind more thoughts or deeper explanations.
It looks like I'm over valuing hands a ton and it looks to be a consistent theme for as long as I've played (I remember in nl25 people were telling me I was overvaluing 2pair and stuff) but I seem to be terrible at understanding why.. whenever I see value I go for it but apparently I'm seeing value where there isn't any too often....
Losing consistently graph for your sick pleasure.. ;(

I'm going to 4 table 1/2 and pray tomorrow and sunday (unless I lose 5more bi). Supposed to go party with my good friend who's in town tonight.. going now and hopefully my life outlook improves eh..

A redline going down isn't only giving up hands. By default your redline is always going to drop due to blinds.
Another cause can be not betting when you should be. When you don't bet turn or river, the hand will usually get to showdown, whereas if you do they will often fold and it goes into your redline. |

Yeah but this is clearly going down more than the blinds hahahha
This confuses me because I apparently go for value CONSTANTLY when its way too thin, so I would think that my redline would increase and my showdown winnings would be hurt. It seems like I just get raised instead and end up folding my "thin-value" hand instead tho.. ? But I can't see why I would get "raised more" than the average person, my villains are definitely not so good that they can see this..
This is why I feel like I need a db analysis and some enormous tweaks to how I think about hand strength.. |

fuck 100nl u hve the worst mindset and r on horrible life tilt. Take the weekend off of poker, then take monday to review past hands. Dont play til tuesday and play 50nl 4 tables on tuesday to get back into things. If it goes well play 100nl on wednesday and stay there til ur roll gets to 8k. Then move back to 200nl. Seriously if u r going to "pray" before u play dont even sit at the fuckin table |

Sometimes a player is in such a bad mental state that they cannot even win at the lowest stakes. You might be at a state where you'd lose at 25nl. Don't worry we've all been there. The good players are just the ones who realize this and go enjoy life for a bit instead.
A break then a return to a stake/# of tables you're used to is in order.
Also, 20k hands and down 11 BI isn't all that bad. |

Your downswing isn't really too bad, but IMO take a break and look back at the basics. Start taking more time to make decisions and think things out, you're probably not taking the time and going through the thought processes that made you a winner in the first place. Success is the downfall of us all |

I feel like I said to watch out for that life and soul crushing downswing which would come eventually and here it is =) That's poker especially for guys like us who aren't insanely talented like mez or myth and so on. Just get outta the tilt mode and play where you're rolled and don't add unnecessary stress to your life. |
