Hey guys,

Been a little while since Ive givien an update. Been playing a lot and things are going really well. I do not miss LHE at all which is great. NL is where its at. Im sadly still grinding NL5 because of a few cashouts I had to make for other things but Im getting close to NL10. I know Im going to have to make some cashouts soon so hopefully I can have a big enough bankroll by then to stay at NL10.

Anyways Ive been playing a lot this month. I usually only get in 10k hands a month but I easily doubled that. I have a lot of time on my hands these days so its easy to put in the hands. My tournament results realy are terrible but lately I have been doing really well in tournaments which feels great. I play in a $2.00 2k Garunteed the other day. It had 2000 entrants and I went out 24 fuck. I thought for a bit there I was going to take it down. I had a horrendous beat to knock me out. AA vs 77, guy binks a 7. fml. Oh well cant complain there. Ive taken down a few multi-table sit and goes recently too. These seriously are soft as hell. I almost always make the final table in these so I am for sure going to keep playing these for a while to get some monies.

As for the cashgames there going well too. Been a little bit slow the last 5k hands thats Ive played but thats the way she goes sometimes I guess. Heres my graph for this month so far:

Pretty happy with things so far. I think I have so many leaks though and lots of room for improvement. The next blog I make I am going to post some of the shittier spots Ive been in and some of my biggest losing hands to see if I did a few things wrong.

This week Im not sure if Im going to be grinding much. I have 3 tests which I really need to study for and do well in. Math tomorrow, Physics tuesday and Power applications Thursday. ugh. Definitly gtting fucking wasted on Friday lol. I have the next week off completely so I will be putting in TONS of hands. Gonna aim for 10k in a week which I think will be super easy to do.

Anyways I gotta get studying which I really do not want to do but yea gotta do what yea gotta do right?

Have been playing SnG's alot now the last days, done pretty good since I switched to Cardoza! feels just great atm!
Switched name from longple1 to NaWRataN in the transfer btw.

Also played my first cash 6max on my new nickname/site today, still sticking to 20NL. Im prolly rolled to shotting at 50NL with br of 1.9k now but I want atleast 50 BI's before going to 50NL. 20NL just feels safe and easy, no rush. Today has been extreme though, big donks have just been donating money all day

Holdem manager is kinda fucking up my handhistories so it looks a little strange... But good enough.

Love the 20bb open push by ATo, and having a guy like the Q7o guy who flats my big "isolation-raise" (wich I kinda should have made alot smaller wich I realised asfast as Ive done it) but it worked out pretty perfect anyways.. rofl. That Q7 fish was spewing like 5 buy ins around the table, I got 2 of them : )

Overall my 12 tabling day has gone great. Im up around 8 BI's wich is nice

Though my AA has been a loser over those 4.7k hands :O ~ -6$, delt 23 times. Sick.
Good thing like every other "premium hand" worked out pretty much optimal today.

Moved up to NL50 and still playing partially NL25
The Switch was Fine , I Guess im up a BIT..Alot of bad beats but im not complaining , it's just a temporary set back..
so far i'v made close to 1000$ which is my first goal at poker..
I'm playing at Carbon , my questions to you guys is , should i move to FTP Or PS maybe ? in carbon i dont have a tracking software available , so i cant keep perfect track on my results.
i think i played around 26,000 hands or so , 1.5 month with 1,000$ so far in winnings but i cannot be sure.
also , i dont have stats on players in the table..
any thoughts?

Well i started playing a bit more often and trying to take it serious... ive been mostly a LIVE player and tournament player, ive played at nl100 but i was vastly inexperienced. So ive taken all my money out and started fresh with 50$, in the past month ive worked it to about 250$. i'm trying to make my play more solid and profitable. I figured keeping a blog would keep me motivated. Here's my graph for this week as well as my stats.

support is awful so far. i posted my problems on both of their forums and no answer what so ever.

i tried to install the sql and when i get to the initialize database cluster i enter what they tell me to and i get the following error.

" the specified database directory is not empty "

if you had similar problems pm me and help me.

I've been on vacation for the last 4 days, I hadn't blogged a couple days before that cuz i had a 30bi ds and took a day off, then played the next day and won back 10bi and had to leave to go to my hometown for a couple days

Things were fun up there, its the coldest place in the usa somedays (literally)

On my drive to my hometown my windshield wipers were broken, so I buy some Rain-X to help the fix the matter which it did help, but I went blind in snowstorms multiple times, one time with a tractor trailer honking his horn at me cuz apparently my trunk was open, although I never noticed

Stopped at sheetz about 20 miles later and found out it was open, drove for like 60-80 miles like that lawl

My bankrolls $2137 right now, I haven't been doing to well at the fitty, but the mistakes I was making (3 major leaks) I have acknowledged and am in the process of fixing (main leak was, I was aiming for 5+bb/100 instead of around 2bb/100. 5bb/100+ is totally unrealistic playing over 16+ tables itlr, which I didn't understand since I was a blaster for the last 15 months, some other things I'd rather not post because NL50 players can read here)

My very good friend lostaccount (jlost88) helped me by teamviewering my pt3 and going through my stats with me (something i'm not the greatest at)

I'm actually down a few bi at nl50, but after my 4-5 days off I'm ready to come back with a bang

Oh, and an IRL friend has given me $1k to run in MTT's tomorrow (at 100% makeup) for 35/65, so I'll be running a lot of tournaments all day sunday and starting cashgame grind monday or tuesday ::edit - 30/70 to 35/65, thanks man)

Wish me luck in the MTT circuit tomorrow, I hope to god I take one down
Almost forgot about the turbo takedown, thought it was next weekend, i only have 3250 fpp right now,mf! ok, gonna have to run some fpp satellites tonight and win a seat into it

I took a 2-3 day break and played zero poker to refresh my mind and my confidence was completely shattered until today. http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/859/22109session.png

Ive set new rules:

1. no playing when down over 2 buyins.
2. no playing when tired/hungry.
3. Dont tilt, when on tilt tell friend to change pw.

250 sng's at nearly -20% ROI hahaha... -800$ for the day...
I didn't tilt... I reviewed hands after 3 hour sessions and everything seemed fine except for the fact that I couldn't win 80% of the hands where I was the favourite. So far it has been the worst day ever for me. Somehow it doesn't bother me and I don't know why.

I felt like I play well, I was getting it in as a favourite but just couldn't win. To lose -50 buy-ins at SNG's is not normal and literlly I've no idea where the problem is.

Few funny stories :

1) Comes down to Heads-up - we both have 6000-8000 chips... I have AA - let's raise it right ? Raise, villain re-raises... I min-raise, he reraises ( at this point I'm like "huh" ? QQ/KK ? wtf ? ) I go all-in and he snap calls.
He has Q6o and eventually outflops me.

2) Bubble... I have 6000, other guy has 6000 and there are two little shortstacks. Of course the second big stack decides to go all-in to isolate me and I call with AA. 83o>AA

I felt that I run like shit. I mean it's just hard to describe... Usually I tilt when I make bad decisions, but this time I thought I play well so there was no tilt at all. clueless.

Oh don't mind me, I'm just grindin'. ^^

Brainfarted towards the end of today's session and turned a +3.25bi day into a +1.9bi day. Disappointing, but I think it's more important that I have successfully prevented myself from continuing to play / resuming play in this decreased state of alertness in an attempt to recoup losses.

Graph for last 2 days. Not going to play the rest of the night - going to go work out with a friend and do some RL work as well.

Looks like I've actually already hit all of my February goals I set for myself, except for my 100K hands goal which is fine since the NL50 and NL100 'shots' didn't really allow me to grind as hard as I wanted. Though then again, my daily schedule broke down to a point where I was really inefficient getting the hours in. Woke up early today though and got 5+ hours in, so hopefully I can keep this up ^^.

edit: I just look through all my losing hands, and a surprisingly large %age of them were coolers/suckouts, which makes me happier ^_^

Palak pointed out that I may have become too nitty again in an attempt to not self-hang myself against station-fish, so I may look into opening up more on good tables / certain spots.

redline's a lil' crappy but nothing too major imo.

Just curious...whats a good number for BB/100? I was runnin like a champ and had 20bb/100...and someone said i was raping? So whats a realistic number for this? What should i be setting as a goal?
