Played a 4.5hr long session at the casino yesterday. Played a pretty cheap donkament for 600 SEK (about 90 USD) and busted out on 2nd level 50/100 with QQ vs AA...coold. Then went to cashgame and lost 0.75bi with flopped flush (87) on A106 board vs J2s...There were 8limpers, 1bet 100 one call, he raises 400 I push all in 1800, K high calls behind but J2s holds up and I lost...

There after I made a rebuy to 2k again...played pretty solid but didn't get any cards..however I got 10 4 about 12times...preferably in EP. Had to fold QQ once, was up against KK and QQ...and all in all I lost 0.5bi in cashgame...

However, I played a lot better than the day before..feel I have gained a deeper knowledge and feeling for the game very quickly, in like 25hrs of livegames. Do better analyses. But when you're totally colddecked my philosophy is just to keep the losses down...

Will probably go tonight again....If i win I will play more this week if I have a losing session I won't play until this weekend, because it's payment day on friday and there will be a lot more juicy games then right now...

Hey guys,

I've been keeping myself really busy by selling stuff on eBay, working on my retail store and learning about SEO.

Over the 3 months or so of not playing poker, I cashed out about 2/3 of my roll leaving me with about $1500. Since PokerStars has a $1000 September instant cash bonus for Gold Star VIP and I have 80k fpps, I figure I should convert it now.

Naturally I wanted to start off playing NL100, but since I'm a bit underrolled and everyone suggests I might be rusty, I ended up deciding to grind some NL50 for the vpps. I definitely felt a bit off balance at first, but after 500 hands I felt like I was playing better than I have in a really long time. I definitely feel like I have a monstrous edge here.

It's pretty funny how many leaks the NL50 regs have, but at the same time it made me realize a lot of my own problems. I definitely make the some of same mistakes, just at slightly more acceptable spots and at a less frequency. I also get the feeling that the better regs at NL50 are still pretty bad and don't have a good idea of the logic of the game, but are simply 12/9 nits that decided to open up and play 16/11. This is kinda funny because I was beating NL50 at 3.5ptbb when I was playing 16/11 a long time ago, and I didn't really understand the game either. All you had to do is make sure to fold to c/c c/minraise, pot pot shove the fish, and occasionally throw a random light 3bet.

Anyway less talking more pics since I haven't done this in a while.

So... My second shot at NL50 was a failure again
I don't know what's my fucking problem, the moment I open a NL50 table I start playing bad and making stupid plays
I KNOW that what I'm doing is stupid, but I do anyway
I don't know if its because I'm not used to the bet sizes
I don't know if its because I feel that people there are better than me and get scared of then cause I play poker have been so little time
I have to find a way to feel comfortable playing there, WTF

ok so i hurt my ankle in college a few yrs ago leaving me unable to play sports for 3/4 a year. anyways so i gained about 20-30 pounds, which idc about all that much, but now that im playing soccer 3-4 times per week and my metabolism is going up, i see this as a really good time to try to relose that weight. i used to eat w/e i want...and i mean a shitton and never gain weight. anyways i probly realize i cannot do it as full force as i used to. i probly lift 2 times/week, which will be upped soon im hoping to 3-4 @ the minimum.

basically i am looking for some type of snack that i can snack on after i eat my normal meals that is somewhat tasty, cheap, and isnt too unhealthy. i find myself eating a meal, then being incredibly hungry after, and no idea wtf to eat and dont wanna pig out lol.

I need a new mouse for my desktop set up. Whats a good, reliable, wireless gaming mouse?

I am also looking to get a coach once I start playing again. I am hoping to make a quick transition from SSNL to MSNL in 6M/HU. Any suggestions as to who would be a good candidate?

Lastly, I am interested in LP'rs favorite strains of marijuana My favorite is either Grapefruit or Sour Diesel. Currently have some AK-47 and its ok, maybe 7/10.

been playing almost no volume of hands due to laziness, i think ive booked only about like 20k hands this month, what an epic fail. Sickness + bad sleep has been ass fucking me(ironic that they go hand in hand, i need better sleep to recover, but i cant because im sick) and my school has been sucking dick too. I really really need to get better soon so i can pull myself out of this hole.

super disappoint with the direction my work ethic for pokers and school has gone this last week T.T


I've taken 3 shots at nl200 so far, 2000 hands each time.

First time +1.5 BI
2nd time +1.5 BI
3rd time -3.5 BI or so.

NL200 is tougher than nl100 but i think it's super beatable. People over think situations and way to play their hands and i'm pretty sure most regs would level themselves playing in certain spots due to FPS. This is something i'm really, really trying to avoid... I'll be taking another shot at nl200 when my BR hits 10k. Im' hoping to put in like a 10k hand shot with a 8 BI stoploss or something.

As far as coaching has gone, i've taken a few NL50 FR students who have all improved a shittone, it's amazing how just teaching them to play a solid, tag game (mixed in with good use of image for some fun steals) can crush nl25-50 so badly -_-;; I think one of the dudes i've been coaching went from losing @ nl25 to crushing nl50 FR on ftp for something neato like 6-8 Big bets an hour, which is quite an improvement from where he was before.

I'm up a tiny bit on the month, but my play has felt very uninspired lately. I'm constantly second guessing my plays, and there are many times where I'm just clueless about what to do or how to play the hand. I just don't feel that sense of control, the notion and confidence that comes with knowing I'm the best player at the table, etc. I'm just getting run over by iPoker's taglags and it's an awful feeling.

Doing well on the year but over the Summer I've been like 1ptbb. I don't know why I always seem to do far worse during the Summer time, it was this way last year as well. Only difference being last year I was near busto . Gonna try to watch some vids and get some sweating to hopefully snap me out of this rut.

Going to Japan in a few days for a bit over a week, then back to Taiwan, then back to Macau for Macau Poker Cup late October, then Cebu (Philippines) in November. GL me.

Day before we went me and Pinny decided that you can't wake up half past 6 in the morning to get to a plane, so we decided to sit up grinding poker and computer game. Since Remmember can't book flights for shit the way to Prague was like this; (see pic)

He also managed to get us like minutes from missing the first plane and overall he tilted me. I therefore didn't warn him about some of the finer points of sleeping in the same room as Eric and precautions you should take. Right now I feel he's a bit annoyed with me. Although, to be honest I think he looks a little bit too happy here:

Anyway, the next day I busted the tournament pretty fast, made this interview (@2.50 or so). They told me not to say anything about wanting to join the ETA just because I got busted by a Spanish short stacker. After that I tilt-told my sister to book earlier flights home. Then I got to drinking more seriously. My sister had a friend in town so we started out with her, and then Pinball joined us when he busted like a champ. After a few drinks we ordered in a bucket of Cuba Libre.

Other then that I've only got 2 observations; ordering Absinth shots by mistake in Prague is a mistake and Rem has no taste at all in liquor.
