So b/c I'm financially crippled, I decided my best shot at building a bankroll would be to play an assortment of SNG's, just to get the maximum ROI with my buyin's, and the equity advantages of playing a limited player pool by just sitting out until late game play when possible. A friend of mine challenged me to some HU matches and I instantly became hooked. After we called a truce at 5-7 him, I continued the $2 HU games thinking maybe I found my niche, a game where I can justifiably play loose and fancy as fuck vs fish and not be as variance heavy when 5 of them call me in a ring game.

Now I dont know much about the statistics of HU play, but I tilted my brains out towards the end when I started getting 3 outered by their bottom pairs making trips on the river, or players just stacking off all in preflop for 1200 chips at level 1 with K7o vs my AK, and hitting their 7 on the turn. Other things I noticed were fish just doing the same typical fishy things they do, calling multiple streets with a single overcard only to bink on the river, calling 3bets with air, and calling every preflop raise with literally any two cards. I'm reeeaaaallllly finding it hard to differentiate between the skill vs luck factor these days.
Since I have $20 left, I'm gonna try the ole stacked table thing. I ran up a small roll doing this once, playing about a 7/4 game. I'll have to remember how this is done.
If none of this works, then I'm just gonna write off penny stakes as genuinely unbeatable over a large sample, and those that make it through simply ran good enough that they could move up. My next move will be to simply deposit an amount I can comfortably play NL200 for, because I cant seem to win at anything below this.

I'm trying to switch to 6max towards the end of the year and probably for good. I'm finally so tired of vpp whoring and not improving 20 tabling - there's just too many of us there now and I feel most new regs are a lot better doing that than I am. Starting to watch some old dc/cr vids tokeweed gave me a year ago. I'll be posting some hands only in my blog coz it feels a lot more personal.

this is the sickest run that I've ever saw
last month I finished breakeven, runned like shit the whole month, and this month started even worst
playing on pacific poker right now, don't know if the site is rigged, because there is lots of 75+ vpip fishs every table
but somehow they manage to stack me everyhand that they get it in, it's fucking weird,
I'm running so bad that looks like the fishs can see my hand, today a guy called my 3barrel bluff with 22 in a AKssxx board when I had missed combo draw, wtf, and they still don't pay me when I have some hand, makes no sense!!!
and today I lost 300bb to a 100 vpip guy, lol, the guy had 0 fold to 3bet and 20% fold to cbet, 60% WTS, he was calling with any two and flopping trips and 2 pairs everyhand loooooool

Soooooo my hot HU streak of +17k comes to a stumbling halt as I lose 20 bi today at 5/10 hu.
15k of it was vs some dude who had the nuts literally every single hand. The other 5k was from a retard who got insanely lucky. I swear, I was fucking doomswitched. Here are "some" hands.

There are TONS more and EVERY hand he had the nuts/near nuts. I'm completely boggled as to how this is statistically possible. I think I won like one or two allins total. He wasn't even good, he pretty much only 3bet QQ+ and AK (literally nothing else) and just flats with any 2 suited cards, then he'd randomly flop a flush draw and call down all my cbets then hit a flush. I really never knew HU could be this sick. He's gotta be hacking...
Guess I'll move back down to 600nl hu. Sigh! Fk this game.

Hello this week i played just about exclusively 87$ hyper turbos. The swings are really too intense for my roll im always scared of going busto... if i had a 5k roll id be much more comfortable but anyways so far so good...
I put the black line where the last graph stopped. As you can see 1k swings are really common... at least for me. Luck is a factor but like all the things in poker... the more long term you play the less it matters

also in 5 days i got just about 5k vpp this month so far... which is just incredible considering the best ive hit is platinum star at the end of the month once...
I'm aiming to grind 156k fpp to buy the 2500$ travel gift thingy, so far i have 12k and according to my calculations ill be done with the grinding easily by the end of february, at a pace of 80 games/day, which is far under what i've been maintaining for the past week.
Then im going to Hawaii weeeeee!!!

I planning on buying a new car a month from now!
I need your opnion about which one of this 2 cars I should buy! They both have basically the same price and stuff so its a matter of which one is most goodlooking 
Cars are really expensive here in Brazil, both this cars cost around R$60,000, thats about $35,300USD. I cant afford to buy anything more expensive than that, so those are my final choices :D

Yesterday was a good day..
Uh, I was drunk w my cousin walking to his car and we run into these 2 big black dudes as we turn the corner. They're like "sup" so I'm all like "SUP NIGGAS LOL" but I quickly realize my mistake and apologize, with the explanation that I've been listening to wayyyyyy too much hiphop (I have been lol). Turns out they were hawking their home-made rap CD so I bought one from 'em as an apology. I think I referred to them as niggas like five more times in the conversation though.. I was recommending tech n9ne to them in exchange for buying their cd.

I didn't feel this good about my poker perspectives in a very long time.
The first 5k hands are multitabled at NL50 and NL25 10-15 tables, last 2.8k hands is 5 hours of grinding 6 tables today.

For the first time ever, I didn't get tilted. At all. Or at least not for more than 2 minutes.
The reason is an awesome series at DC by Tommy Angelo that my Coach recommended and partially also newly discovered stacking of tables for the multitabling part.
I just sat down, grinded through the ridiculous period where I lost all all ins, looked at my hand histories and felt nothing but positive emotions when it was me who sucked out or had AA v KK.
And I looked at my br ONCE in last 3 days and now after the sessions.
And sure enough - without stopping the deck gradually started compensating, I just focused on playing well and finished breakeven.
Needless to say, I see this break even period as the most successful since I started playing poker and I can see the light at the end of the spewy tunnel now.
You might say that this was just a small bump on the road and I have to prove myself when I start running really bad over longer period, but this is just the hope I needed (+I am just halfway through Eightfold path to poker enlightenment and had just one coaching session).

Well we've spent ~8 hours shopping, I had a total of 9000$ (1000$ that I gave to my dad who works for an organization to get food for families that can't afford it at christmas)... leaving me with 8000$ to shop...
We actually went to the mall where there's this place you can get christmas balls with the name of a kid + wat the kid wants for christmas.... we had 62 of those, took us the entire day... we've spent a 4200$, so I'm going back on monday to shop some more until all the money's gone...  Thanks a lot for your generosity guys, this is greatly appreciated.

Well in a few hours I shall begin my epic journey for hopefully an awesome night I will only remember in pictures and stories.
Turning 22 on Wednesday - ffs I feel so old
But since I'll be taking finals Monday-Thursday I won't really have time to party it up this upcoming week. So I'm having a party tonight instead.
Should be pretty awesome - invited a lot of fun people. I got a hotel suite close to the bars we're going to pregame + after party at. I plan on going to Brothers (should be packed - but sweet drink specials), Sneaky Pete's (they have poles all over the bar... random slags get up and dance on them - can't go wrong with this), and maybe the strip club connected to Sneaky Pete's (don't remember the name of it - but probably one of the better clubs in the downtown area imo) that's if I'm still functioning after bar close (questionable)
Anyways I think there will be a few people taking pictures so I'll post them as soon as those are up.
Anyways I'm off to get ready for my night.
