I'm trying to switch to 6max towards the end of the year and probably for good. I'm finally so tired of vpp whoring and not improving 20 tabling - there's just too many of us there now and I feel most new regs are a lot better doing that than I am. Starting to watch some old dc/cr vids tokeweed gave me a year ago. I'll be posting some hands only in my blog coz it feels a lot more personal.

hand 1:
villain is a standard tag/semi-nit, folds to aggression in 3bet pots and runs 18/17/3.5 and 4%3bet, nothing special but I did win some medium pots against him

no history but I'm really clueless how these things go in 6max, FR I pretty much call like the fish that I am for fear of being reshoved with a set, or nut fd plus overs, 6max is obv more poker and aggression so I just need to know if raise/calling his turn lead is good to do

hand 1 i think i shoulda bet bigger on flop eh? im not used to 6tablng 6max so i act so slow lol
hand 2 is flatting and/or raising flop ok? turn i hate calling, is raising here "better"? or just the same? id hate a river brick and pots big enough to be upset about lol
hand 3 i puked and crai flop which was kinda retarded coz that flop is like a fucking nightmare to give any free cards esp oop

get it in on the flop in hand 2 if you want to be aggressive, there's no point at all to raising turn vs a random villain
hand 1 is such a snippity snap high-five call for me

hand 3 bet like 25/call or obv put the rest in on any turn

so critterer was right lol

Hand 1 I dont really like making a 3b this big and such a big cbet vs nits, since your game plan is to abuse their tightness and you can do that with raising and betting smaller, if its a fish or a station you can go ahead and maximize value but a nit is just not gonna pay you off, you are beat by QQ and AA here and 77 maybe if he stinks, but obv you gotta take into account he will ship QQ,AA pre say 50% of the time without a better read, so that gives you about 4 combos of hands that beat you so adding that to our odds we only need him to have AQs here to make this a call. That was way too long winded way to say not to fold overpairs in 3b pots with 100bb, oh well.

Hand 2 you def want to be getting this in on the flop, sets you dont have to worry about, maybe only TT and overpairs you got good equity against, I hate calling because when it bricks and he fires we have to fold, and when we hit we run the risk of him shutting down, take your equity on the flop and go with it, on the turn once he bets he is essentially never folding so just call if ur getting the odds and fold if ur not, but def def get it in on the flop.

Hand 3 again we are worried about exclusively JJ as a nit wont 3b 99 vs utg and would get KK in pre, no point in checking and hoping he bluffs so just bet like 20 and sigh get it in we have AA.

really nice and clear hand advice man, thats what i really need appreciate it.
thanks

and i really think im losing value by making these big 3bets /cbets so in general im always up against someone with really strong equity or the fucking nuts, thats why im really not winning anymore since games got a bit tougher. add that to monster tilt coz of unreal coolers when in fact i cause these situations to happen to me a lot of the time
