I'm currently in China and wanted to start playing online some. I haven't played for about a whole year, and know all about black friday in america. What would be the best sites to start playing on again? Thanks

well i've spent about an hour and a half, and I can't figure out a way to deposit to stars. I have an american visa card, so that doesn't work. Webmoney is sketchy as hell and is in russian. entropay wants me to send a copy of a utility bill which i don't have, living on a school campus in china. Is there any other way to get money from my bank account to pokerstars?

if games are as good as i've heard in SSP then i'd suggest that and use aggressive bankroll management. Try to move up as fast as possible and improve your game
in the end 5 tabling and improving your game nets u more money than grinding SNE and shiny stars/status.

Im not sure I understand, the way I get it is with contributed the looser players will get more than with dealt and the ones it hurts are the nitty mass tablers (which Im ok with ) . Maybe there is something Im missing tho if you can explain Id appreciate it.

your assumption that you get more if you are loose is incorrect in one sense, sure - you get more than the nit, but less than with a standard deal. of course this differs a bit from limit to limit, because lower limits are infested with more fish (who plays like 50/0+).

but yeah this is taken mainly from my own experience when sites go from dealt to contributed. I am neither loose nor nitty (plays like 25/20) and I always have a higher rake paid (not the same as contributed) than MGR. and when they changed the system I got less rake.

Exactly that, if you join 'fish tables' you cant join any more, and if you already play any, you cant join them at all. This is going live today.

not to point out the obvious, but this thread is a bit derailed. Five pages of comments about the fairness/unfairness of the ban and I've forgotten what the original post was. It would seem banning someone for cracking a joke didn't prevent the derail, as was the apparent reason for the ban.

Aside from pokerstars, pkr is a pretty good site to play on up til nl100. It's very soft, as the software is very different so regs stray away from the site. However the software isn't too bad, you just have to get used to it. the bonus on pkr is also much more easily clearable than most sites. The customer support is also very good.
