my skin is almost always perfect, but it has been a week that a huge internal pimple grew in my fucking left cheek, making the left side of my face look all swollen.
I already had to refuse a job last friday because of this, and today I had to refuse another one *!(*&@¨#*&!#*&!@#)!
this fucking shit already cost me almost 2K WTF
I went to the doctor and he said the only thing I can do is to keep a hot compress on my face to help is speed the cure process, but this shit wont come out

my rant is 90% because of the jobs lost buddy
to do my job my skin must be 100% or in a way that make up can cover, and its not the case cause makeup cant cover my swollen face
so basically I lost like 15% of this month income because of this and who knows how long its gonna take to go away
1 - I work for what would be equivalent to the departament of justice in the US, its a 20 to 30 hours a week job, depend on the week, but the pay is fixed every month
2 - professional model, I only get paid for the jobs I'm hired to do (mostly photos) ----> ( this represents 40% to 75% of my monthly income)

what... come on, tyra banks is a super model, you cant compare her life with a "regular" model's life.
tyra banks dont even get out of bed for less than 10K while I will be spending 3 hours taking photos for $500 or 1K.
try to stay standing up for half an hour with someone taking photos of you and telling you what to do, you have to pay attention and cant mess up or they will just call another model, now imagine that but 6x times longer.
and there are times that you will be called to cast for a good job and you will have to do all this shit for free expecting to be selected to do the job and get paid. its vey frustating sometimes...
if you have a lot of time as a model it can be very different, my girlfriend is a model since 12 yrs old (she is 23 now) and for her its a lot easier than for me. she get almost all her jobs by direct booking (thats when you dont even have to cast) and she charges $500 an hour to take photos (thats is considered a high hour rate)
