Hey guys, Im Kristen and Im 23 years old. My boyfriend got me addicted to this site (as well as team liquid) through the ROFL thread and then I've been branching out. Hes one of the hardcore online poker players (got like 40K frozen on FTP..) and I really dont know that much about it. Ive played a little SC but I suck. I play a lot of LoL and other vidja games. I guess i am not your typical nerd. I used to be in a sorority. Im pretty multifaceted. Anywayssss nice to meet you all!!

hello lp i used to be on here a long time ago but have no idea what my account was. ive returned to try to figure this game out again

Hi guys, my name is Stan. Here is a little background about myself so all you guys know where I'm coming from. I am currently unemployed and only have an accounting certificate to show for from 6 years of slacking after high school. I've been playing poker for 7 years now but seriously for a little over 1 year. I play live at the local casino plo1-2 and 5-5. I just turned 24 in January and man oh man am I having a hard time with this age. I don't know whether to continue grinding poker or go back to school and find a stable job. However, I do not believe in the schooling system as I believe it to be a way of enslaving people. What I want from life is to have the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want, with whomever I want. All my friends have either a job and/or a girlfriend, and me I'm the only one with neither. Please I need some advice on life as I am currently unhappy with the situation I put myself in. So I thought to myself where else better then LiquidPoker. Thanks, Stan.

Go out and meet interesting people, learn a trade or a craft on your own (you can learn almost anything on the internet), work on your own projects that you enjoy. Realize that being unemployed gives you a fuckton of free time. There are even people who ARE EMPLOYED who spend extra time on ventures outside their primary job. The only thing keeping people from pursuing something meaningful to them is laziness and lack of ambition

work stan work, get a menial job, get an average job. from there you will figure things out
