Hello LP, long time lurker, first time poster.

I consider myself a fairly experienced gamer. I have been playing games for so long I don't even know when I started. I got into RTS in 4th grade when I went over to a friends house and saw his older brother playing RA2. It was love at first sight, and I ran home to put a copy on my computer. Two years later I went online with CnC Generals and never looked back. In the 8th grade I started playing games competitively. By 9th grade I was on top Battlefield 2 teams. After awhile I started to dislike team play and went to play Company of Heroes, a new generation RTS. I became a top 1v1 player and took down some tournaments. It was not as competitive as some other games such as SC, but it still had a nice scene. I was a top player there for 3 years and can still play pretty strong. One little known "HuK" fact is that he played CoH as well. He was a talented player but not the most dominant. To this day I still believe I can hold my own against him in CoH. After awhile I decided to move up and played Command and Conquer 3: Kanes Wrath. I worked my way up to the top in about 9 months and went to WCG USA Nationals. I was a good player and I boot camped with the 1st, 2nd, and 4th place players but I didn't make it out of groups due to nerves/unfamiliarity in lan environment. I learned some hard lessons and moved on to RA3, where I was a top player in the early release stage of the game. After awhile I decided to quit and focus on some RL stuff. Now I am in college and have been playing poker for about a year. After making some borderline-retarded mistakes in BRM I am now a successful player at full ring NL5. I'm interested in becoming a better player, but I realize becoming good at poker is harder than it used to be. If anyone is interested in coaching a serious student through the microstakes at a reasonable rate I am willing to put in the time and money. PM me if you are interested. When I am not playing poker, I am surely playing starcraft 2. I play about 20 games a week with all 3 races. I have made it to the top 10 in my diamond division, which I realize is nothing special at all. With that being said, I don't think I'm totally retarded at starcraft and if anyone is down for some fun 1v1 action feel free to PM me and we'll get some games in.

Peace,

Surprise

Hey guys
I've been a gamer my whole life although I've basically stopped since graduating college a year ago. I've been playing 50nl for a few months and it's been fun.
Moving up in stakes and learning me some poker is one of my biggest goals right now

hey i'm not new but i never did a post for this thread so i gues i'll start. I've played bw and sc2. Currently in a platinum league but i literally have no time between work and school to even play that so i basically stoped playing sc2 since sept of this year been in a gaming clan called "dark legion" www.darklegion.net and really like this website to get feedback from other people who play poker and do it for a living or at least attempt to do that so that i better my game.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Sup kiddos, I'm Matthew Took a long break from poker for about a year(I pretty much rage-quitted) but I always seem to return. I'm kinda like herpes that way. I find its easier to stay motivated in poker around other players dealin with the ups n downs. Alas that is why I'm here. I will probably start a blog at some point if you want to learn more about me or my past or recent results, otherwise I will be around the low limit section as I'm starting from the ground up masterfully outwitting soccer moms at 10nl
