thanks Ten. Your NBA picks are very good. Keep in mind I'm at best an educated novice at sports betting. However, I am pretty knowledgable in sports and have a bevy of resources through the forums. I will do my best. I will try to post picks for tonight and tomorrow. However, I am going on vacation from Friday to the following Sunday where I do not think I will have internet. If I do, I will try to make some quick picks.

We're all novices here, I don't think a single one of us here has the long term track record that is required to have a level of certainty about our edge in this game. However, there are definitely people that crush and it clearly takes a lot of hard work to get to that level. That's why I think it's important for us to discuss so we can all help each other improve and get to where we want to be.

For example, I am going to say I can look at NBA lines and rarely find a line that stands out to me, led alone one that is actually a good line. I see for example, Cavs - 6 vs Denver last Thursday. Many times, my leans are completely off, after I do some research and gloss over others' opinions. I have bet college a bit longer, so I find the trap lines right away. I also have a wider range of knowledge in college by merely watching ESPN and CBS, who broadcast a wide array of conferences and teams while NBA tends to show the top 10 ish teams.

I don't see any NBA games I really like, obviously. I really like Temple -4 vs Dayton. This is an important game for both teams but I think Temple is the better team, and they are playing at home. I also like Purdue -3 at Minnesota. Minnesota is pretty strong at home, but their recent win over Wisconsin has made this line lower than it should. Add to the fact that Purdue has won at Ohio State and Michigan State, 2 very strong home teams and overall teams, makes this an attractive game. There is an interesting line of Pitt +1 at Notre Dame. Pitt has been playing very well recently, but is not good on the road. Notre Dame is good at home, but is not good overall and does not have Harangody. I am trying to figure this line out. These picks are all road picks so beware.

OKC +4: Lot of discussion over this game. I like how OKC is playing and SA is finally home after a long break. Will be fun to watch.

Leaning toward Purdue -3, but we'll see how these games go. I'm pretty sure if i go anything other than 0-4(knock on wood), I'll play it.
