bad day for bagger,

i ended up taking san antonio -4 and the over in the laker game to save me

yeah you guys should prob fade me for a while.

man that SA game was rough. ginobli's amazing block of durant was the key play there. took all the momentum away and OKC fell apart after that.

time for 13 units on sweden to play catch up ?

yeah ginobli was a stud, when he's healthy he's one of the best in the league. He's just everywhere on the court, rebouding, blocking, scoring . Love that guy

Loyola Marymount +4 & Youngstown St. +10. Let's get some back today, boys!

PS Know nothing about soccer, but this Wolfsburg +100 seems like a big play for some people on the forums.

canada hockey giving me some mula.. gogo girls ...

usa, u made me sad when i saw them tears :/ boohoo

so for u hockey specialists.. whats the feeling on canadas game tomorrow?

D_Zoo   Canada. Feb 25 2010 21:54. Posts 4013

Canada matches up real well vs them

they have a bunch of big bodies that shoudl take turns running Chara and tiring him out
tire him out, and their weak backline should be exposed

with Halak in net I would never bet on a blowout since he is one of the guys that strive when faced with more shots
he has the best record of any goalie when faced with 40+ shots

I would gamble on a win in regulatiuon with this one though (usually i never bet hockey 3way lines since they are suicide imo)

Canada to score first is a good prop here i would say

the o/u is so hard cuz Halak can be so good. Slovakia SHOULD have a tough time scoring as Canada can really clamp down on their best players who are physcially fairly weak like Hossa, Palffy, Demitra
I would love to include Gaborik on that list but this year he has shown so much in the NHL and the new element (atleast to me) is that he isnt backing down and battling for pucks. However, he should be faced with the biggest adversity test regarding those factors in this game having to see the likes of Keith and Weber all game in his face

Nevertheless a team with a one shot specialist liek Gaborik, the most valuable defencemen int he NHL imo in CHara and a golaie who loves facing a ton of shots, is not a team I want to take lightly or bet heavily against regarding spread

teh Finalnd -US game I really liek the u5.5 since both teams have 2 of the sickest goalies that are both superhot right now

US offence is pretty much 1 line and relying on getting that lucky bounce/break so far, which can only carry u so far
Finns are having a real tough time 5 on 5 and PP wise last 2 games. So i like the under here and I like FInns +1.5 regulation time
Obv an empty netter makes it a 2 goal game but this game can easily go to OT

IF Finns play their system hockey and a strong team game they are def gonna give the US a go and can win this game. Their speed and system team game can neutralize the US' super speed just cant let US manhandle them like they have every team but the Canadians
Hard to not like Kipper who has been through all this before where as Miller hasnt (i do love him but def could be a factor) and showed 'some' weak spots vs Swiss. Teams have been shooting a lot at him (aka CANADA) and not making him move enough where if Finland PP is clicking they will make him move.

So if u find good odds on 2way line with Finns I'd take it or a gamble on the draw in 3way line

I always hate betting vs the US since as I always say, thats where the viewers are and the money comes from so they always get the breaks since people want to see them make it far (aka the death trip behind the net vs Swiss with like 1:17 to go directly infront of the ref which woulda been 6 on 4 for rest of game)

canada spread really sucking balls, started at -2, now its -2.5.. the f
the little ive seen of the games i def agree with ya on the u5 for us vs finn game

but finn +1.5 not so good as pinny is giving 1.556 odds so dont know that its worth it

not sure what u mean by 2way line and 3way line

D_Zoo   Canada. Feb 26 2010 00:09. Posts 4013

2way line as in win or lose counting ot and shootout so u can only win or lose
3 way lines count draw so regulation time. win-draw-lose

1-1 for a tiny profit. considering yesterday's debacle, even the smallest of profits is a great day. man I really wanted to take that over on denver/gs and I just didn't pull the trigger.

my updated record

20-23, -.38u, -.02% ROI

Also wanted to say that I went through my initial screen which is the sagarin lines for the games for tomorrow and the portland/chi line jumped out at me. according to sagarin rankings, the line should be -.6 for chicago while the actual line is -3.5. I know camby is injured and all but you rarely see such a disparity unless a star player is injured. I checked up on SBR to see what people had to say about that game and I noticed that lakerboy, one of the better NBA cappers there is putting 10 units on that game and a lot of other people really like the blazers @ that line. The consensus also seems to be for the blazers so I think there's a good chance that line will move down. I for one will be trying to book my bet on this game early tomorrow.

What's everyone got today? I'll get it started--Suns-Clippers under 209: no Phoenix game has gone over 206 since the All Star Game, so, it looks like it's worth a shot. Am thinking of taking the US in men's Olympics ice hockey, too, because it's pretty hard not to see a US-Canada finals.

As someone who watches more hockey than probably anyone else here. You might want to re-think that depending on what the line is. Finland I would say is equally as good as the USA at this tournament. It's going to be a close 50/50 game. Perhaps 60/40 for the USA at best.

Edit: Apologies to Raid here. Finland appears to have decided not to show up at all. Kipper decided to play awfully. Very surprising to see the Fins not be competitive. Was for sure expecting a low scoring defensive standoff between these two teams. I guess maybe it was a 70/30 for USA instead of 60/40. Very surprised especially after a lackluster game vs. the Swiss from the USA in the quarters.

Bejamin, my main book (Betjamaica.com) has em at +157, US is at -177. Guess I'll defer to the experts and lay off this one, then.
