Utah ML was my largest bet so if they win im even for the night since I did that last minute San Antonio bet (which i'll gladly take even after the way I started)

im not exactly tailing you, as I had all of those games in my mind as long with New Orleans and Denver. I will say I was definitely unsure about the Bulls and tailed you there. I don't know if the Raptors was a good pick. Is that just lucky that they covered?

Big day in college sports. My leans:
Wake -1.5 at NCST: NC State is very bad anywhere they play. Wake has been good recently, I just think they are a better team.
Texas Tech +6.5 vs Texas: Texas is not very good on the road and overall recently. Texas Tech is a very good home team and while they are not a very good team, I think they can contend.
Georgia -2 vs Alabama: Both teams are mediocre, but Georgia is a very good home team with wins over South Carolina and Vandy and Alabama is terrible on the road.

WTF:Kentucky +1 at Vandy: Vandy is so sick at home but Kentucky is sick overall. They did not look great at Miss St, a decent team with a great home court. I am laying off this one.

Tonight's picks

CHA +3

Thomas looked like a perfect fit for their team last night. His athleticism and defensive presence in the frontcourt is exactly what CHA has needed all year. I know CHA has been weak on the road so far this year and playing a back to back on the road after a huge victory against CLE, it has the makings of a prime let down night. Even so, I think CHA is roughly a point and a half better in the Sag ratings than MIL right now so after accounting for the home field advantage, I think the accurate pricing of this game should be only +1.5 or +2 for CHA.

HOU ML -305

I generally dislike taking big favorites on the moneyline. But the spread of this game according to the sag ratings should be -9.5 instead of -7.5 so I like the pricing of this game and I'd rather take HOU ML rather than bet on them to cover a large spread. I know I've said that I predict players to struggle after a trade, but I don't think that applies as much to in this situation. Martin is more of a spot up shooter and I think his outside range is the perfect fit for HOU offense.

WASH +6.5

I'm sort of betting that Bosh is not going to play tonight. Toronto has a few days off after this and playing against a weak team at home, I have the feeling that they will not risk aggravating Bosh's injury and give him some rest tonight. If Bosh doesn't play, I think this is a great line. Sag ratings say that the line should be +7.87 so Bosh not playing only affects the line 1.37 while it had an effect of roughly 6 points against the Nets last night. Bosh is definitely worth a lot more than 1.37 points, probably around 4 or 5 points so even factoring in for the chance that he may play, I think it's a good line.

I'm a bit nervous since this pick, like the CHA pick last night, goes opposite to the covers biggest consensus pick so it is the kind of pick that will make one look foolish a lot. But I think WASH is actually playing better ball without Jamison and Butler and the entire team is energized from the change of tempo. Blatche has a ton of talent and has regained his confidence and is playing excellent ball. Despite WASH horrible record, they lost a lot of close games this year and I still believe that Flip Saunders is an excellent coach that can surprise a lot of people with a young and hungry WASH team.
