Just play. If you're good, people will be impressed. If not, they won't. There is no "trying" to impress people. You aren't playing 300/600 with peachy, so clearly you can improve your game. Just work to get better and listen when people here give advice, because assuming you're already good and that the people here should ooh and ahh won't get you far in either learning or impressing people.
