At first i wanted to write something pseudo-smart and pseudo-analytical but in the end all i can say is great line up and great episode, pure entertainment.

lol @ mike baxter's "analysis" of the young aggressive players.
rofl @ laak's aces.

Laak just feels so outclassed at this table. Almost as if he's realized that he's against better players and doesn't really know how to handle it.

i think laak is good enough to play at the table, but he just keeps levelling himself and has talked himself into a state where he doesn't think he's good enough.

ie. he's his own worst enemy

but he's miles ahead of negranu who is clearly struggling but doesn't realise his own shortcomings

to laak's defense, he has the absolute worse seat at the table

phil laak's 50 k preflop bet with aces was definetly + EV.

Ye its hard to ever get -EV no matter what you do. But you can most certainly get more EV out of that situation. (Trying to get someone to realise you can never make a -EV move with AA pre)

yeah, he lost money = he played bad

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol
