Well, I am considering it. I am considering to apply for a promotion at work to be a manager. 2 managers told me about the opening and said I should apply. Pay would be like $30,000/yr now to $40,000/yr if I get the job. I would obviously have manager duties and they said the biggest change is when I am the manager in charge of the store duties. I think I'm going to go for it but I posted this here in case I'm missing something or to just better think about it through writing.

couldn't you move out with 40k? you don't live in some overpriced shithole like nyc, do you? I get 15.6k yearly from benefits tax free and my rent is 560 everything included for 550 sqft. leaves me around 700 to spend every month and i feel pretty comfy. I often get free food from volunteer job and I rent games from library. |

I live off around 8k~ a year, and am in a somewhat expensive city. I don't rent though (well I still have to pay a bit in maintenance). The benefits of not having children or wife. Some of the buildings in the city have expanded their wireless range so far that I can log into them now as well. Gona cancel my internet soon. |
