You can keep posting random blogs related to me it won't make you any less of a proven scammer and liar. We all know you don't even have the attention span to read their contents so you're tilt-sharing shit you don't even know about, which makes it very sad. Like, posting a link to my blog about sharing free invites to a torrent site, which I did, and which clearly didn't cause any problem and calling me a scammer for sharing free shit? It's utter nonsense.
Those "controversy" blogs you and hiems keep referring to, they are in fact hilarious. I re-read them and I have to rant. + Show Spoiler +
Newblish was in fact a delusional weakling. He couldn't handle a 3 buy-in swing playing heads up and called himself the unluckiest poker player on LP constantly. The facts were clear: he was delusional. His results showed that he ran better than most people here. He just didn't care to actually do some data-finding and see what others were experiencing and be objective about it. He hated being called out on it but it was the truth. Those old blogs of his have certainly not aged gracefully. If anyone wants a good laugh, go read them, and read the comments. Dozens of people were calling him out on it. I only made a blog about it that stood out.
13 years later and I still feel completely irked out by this kind of entitled child mentality, "it's impossible that this is happening to me, I should have won, I can't lose vs donks in this luck-based game!" ... it's utterly pathetic. I feel bad for Newblish that he didn't have the luck that I had of being friends with people like Fayth and seeing what it takes to make it as a poker player. We all knew what poker was about, we all experienced extreme swings, and Newblish just had this idea in his head of what poker should be, which was not based in reality, and he was not prepared for a small fraction of the variance that can happen to someone. He downplayed how extremely black and white his perspective was. His whining was not the typical tilt most players have, it was the tilt of a person with a very skewed perspective towards what they are entitled to and what life gives them, as you see with persons with Cluster B personality disorders. Black and white thinking is an extremely dangerous thing. It's the exact same thinking that motivates incels to be mysoginists and some go as far as raping or killing women because of it (like Elliot Rodger). They'll say things like "I'm really good looking and I deserve this chick that I like, I'm way better than her boyfriend" and their narcissism convinces them that it's the absolute truth and that this is how life should work. For Newblish it was "I'm smarter therefore I deserve to win more often at this game".
A lot of this has to do with growing up in a virtual world. If he had tried joining the Marine Corps instead of doing online gaming and he constantly complained that he was disadvantaged for some reasons and that this is why he was fucking up and underperforming, and claimed that he deserved to become a marine, that shit would have gotten him slapped the fuck around. Reality would have made itself apparent. He would have been forced to learn to stop being an entitled bitch or quit, but when you're on the internet you can live in your little bubble and remain an entitled bitch. You can delude yourself and think that your thinking is aligned with reality and drown in self-pity because you don't have real friends to bring you back to reality. Newblish had pussy friends who indulged his paranoid "woe is me" fantasies instead, like that Benjamin1 dude. They didn't appreciate tough love, instead they doubled down on their delusions that life owes them something and success should come easily to them. He took Newblish at his word that he ran worse than everybody else and didn't care to dig into it because he is conflict-avoidant and agreeable. This is the kind of friend that everyone is better without in the long-term. |
