And yes it is that simple, wealth and welathy people control Policy and use Political parties to control policy. It's always been like that and always will be like that, until the masses control the wealth.
wealthy people control everything but not as puppeteer act, they are very influential especially in a country where lobbying is legal.
The relation between state and wealth its more of a symbiosis, an exchange of favors between ruthless people in their pursue of power, Obama does not lead the world but neither does Rothchild, while both individually very powerful, they are equally powerless in the grand scheme of things, the "system" is a headless monster.
And about skeptical or mistrusting, who give a shit about semanitcs? What I mean is to never take the CIA word for anything especially when the claim helps their agenda, and I am skeptical about it thats why I dont deny the Russians did it, I said I dont know, and you dont know either.
I read an article recently about McAfee saying that its impossible to have forensic evidence of the Russian hack that it would be like finding a grain of sand in the beach, so any evidence the CIA could have is from inside sources so there will never be evidence presented and the best we will get is "trust us".

Nah my reasoning is simple, am trying to discuss cyberwar and political distribution within nations for X purpose.
It's you guys who are hell-bent on talking about legitimacy of CIA, Media and Left vs Right, specific proofs etc. I'm OK , and have weighted in, as I stated prior, that CIA does conduct operations on its own people for X reason, see Iraq war.
My reasoning is that other nations use propaganda/missinformation to disrupt and create an environment of confusion within that population towards their gouvernement and institutions. I've always been fascinated by covert operations involving social media and traditional media, general progaganda to help reach a goal, like for example the uprising in many Arab countries not that long ago, facilitated by CIA operations.
I understand, you guys prefer to make assumptions on me, validate your stance, and feel great that "lol this asshole so blind, belives in CIA lies lulz'
