So being a mere neuroscientist makes him incapable of looking at their studies and calling out their bullshit manipulation with their numbers? Also I know sophistry when I see it that shills reputation is on the line please refer to where he prescribes alternative therapies and doesn't just suggest that people eat things high in k2 so the calcium gets absorbed.

Yes I have a lot of respect for people who go against the system. The second you go against the dogma your reputation is ruined you recieve no funding much easier to just be a shill and manipulatet results
Yes, I know. Everything is black and white for you and involves some form of conspiracy, including the peer-review process. You have no respect for science, but when it suits you, you assume the role of the guy who knows who are the good scientists and who isn't. It doesn't matter that these people are obvious hucksters who get caught red-handed lying or misrepresenting the science, you have more respect for any random moron who goes against the scientific consensus because you can relate to them due to your own hero syndrome.

A butter shill I'm sure he gave up his reputation for the butter industry as opposed to the statins available for only 4 measly dollars that 25% of adults are taking and increasing to 50% in the future. It is high body fat and inactivity it's what I've said all along. Yes enough now can't be bothered.

He's a psychology prof dude, not an MD. He's not taken out for lunch by big pharma, he can't prescribe statins.

It's probably because you didn't watch the video. I can't be bothered it's not going anywhere so I won't address you. It's actually funny the vegans in that comment section say the same thing about ravnskov where are you getting this? why do you say the same thing? who the fuck is ravnskov maybe I should listen to him.

Oh fuck off baal you can't pathologize people based on message board posts if that were the case basically everyone is a 'psycopath' on the internet besides I'm writing about things I believe are best for society in the future something sociopaths don't give a shit about. The views may be contrary to humanism but that's because of the nature of the natural world is not a fluffy feel good bullshit and I'm seeing a brutal downfall of this unnatural system soon.
Dude you have some social darwinist ideas that are giving hitler's ghost a boner.
I call you a psychopath because you show a huge lack of empathy, I mean perhaps you dont have a conditions, I've had weird darwinist ideas when I was a teen but I dont think you have youth as an excuse anymore, so you are either a psychopath or you are trying hard not to understand the human condition and not to feel suffering, perhaps its your mechanism to cope with it.

In other news, someone I know started a debate that deals with the concept of truth based on the Harris/Peterson Podcast. It's structured in a way as to give both of them plenty of time to research and think in between statements. Here are the introduction statements (the rest will follow on the same channel):

I explicitly told you that I didn't watch your dumb video... I also gave you the link that exposes Ravnskov. Btw, your boy Salatin lost his only debate with vegans, even though he had one of the most competent anti-vegan co-debaters on his team.

I watched them a few days ago so it's not completely fresh in my mind, but I believe there is truth on both sides. I don't like the insistence on describing which concept of truth is more valid or important, though. It creates a separation that I don't think exists (obviously, I think we should distinguish them, but not value them separately). I think Fred's outlining of a biologically evolved morality has substance to it, I have only just started learning more on the subject. I'm currently studying Edgar Morin, who refers to this idea as self-(geno-pheno)-organisation in his main work, but I haven't reached the part where he goes deeply into it. I'm sure I'll have more to say on this in a month or two once I've finished it (it's a 2600 pages mammoth of a work).
One thing's for sure, Fred's take on the matter was more intelligible to me than anything Petersen said in his talk, to the point where I'm wondering if he's not arguing something completely different than Peterson did. It's not clear to me how he managed to get there from anything Petersen said. Peterson said some things with regards to empirical truths that I find objectionable. Philip did a good job pointing out the obvious on that front, such as the fact that scientists aren't in the business of establishing "incontrovertible truths".

“Starting in college, I began looking for real answers to my everyday problems,” says Schmidt, a chiropractor and nutritionist based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. “After 10 years of going through all of this seeking and searching and various therapies, I was worse. And then I got into Scientology and that’s when I got the real live solutions.”
