Pretty sweet right? Just 15 months ago I started playing cashgame from scratch and now I'm about to go for midstakes! :D
The following is my last month of play. I still have too many leaks and the worst is that I look at HM2 too frequently, sometimes even during sessions. Been putting lots of hard work and it's paying off
I know the big blind winrate is pretty bad and small blind not exceptional aswell. I'm working on blinds a lot and actually 2 weeks ago big blind was at -45 and I definitely want something higher than -30 in the future.

I remember when people were telling you to not bother, no money left in poker, don't waste your time.. So sick. Congrats man, I'm sure you deserve it.
Thanks man. Yeah it's sick many people said discouraging stuff but I can't really believe that when the guy who coached me is averaging 20-25k a month this year, and even though he's definitely very smart he's not a poker genius or the most prepared, theory oriented high stakes player either.
I play on Stars only, in a few months I'm moving to Malta and will be playing other sites aswell like black chip

Thanks everybody, this means so much to me. I've struggled so hard this year to learn poker and went through really rough times. Enjoying some success at the end feels great.

Didn't quite make it. I dropped the plan of going for supernova elite a few months ago and I will profit about a third of what I wanted. I'm still very happy because even though I showed absolutely no talent for this game from the start I became a winning player and that's the most important thing to me.

I play on Pokerstars.it because I am forced to play on italian poker sites from here. It's a bit softer than .com but rake is way higher, I would think winrate differs 1 to 2 bb from Stars.com at the stakes I play

There is a lot of variance involved, don`t care about it too much. Did You really played 150k hands in one month or I misread something? How many yours did You put in?

150k hands/month is my standard workload. It's not much really, I get to play 800-950hands/hour (depends if I'm mixing some 200 normal with 4 zoom) so if I played like I'm on a 6/7 full time job it would be 180k+ hands.
This is not an exact calendar month though because I've taken a 3 and a half week break from poker in november, but if we exclude those 3 weeks it's a full month worth of grinding. I also don't have rest days so I get to spread my hours more evenly throughout the week, which makes it a bit easier.

jesus man, those are some amazing results. keep playing if you can make money, you belong to the 1% of new players coming though which is why people tend to discourage others from continuing to make this a full time job. if you can make money and grow it why not? for every one guy who gets results like those there are probably a hundred who fail so if you are some insane outlier then thats good. no amount of negative advice can keep you from doing this. good luck and merry christmas (winning feels amazing hahah)

this is cool, good job
doesn't change much, but i think ps.it is A LOT softer then .com, but doesn't change the fact that even in soft games, your winrate is excellent,

keep it up.
You are right about .it being a lot softer, but that mostly applies to NL400+
NL100 is not so much easier than .com, regs are a little bit worse but there are also way less recreationals. People who have done well at NL100 on stars.it had about similar results when they moved on stars.com

I feel so fakin old when I`m reading to all "frash blood" blogs :D Amazing job dude, keep it that way. Btw. I`m curious how much higher is the rake (6% up to 4$?), and what`s the avarage RB?
Vanity definitely my favorite sin

gj cloud, I get a feeling you might be overestimating .it compared to .com but I guess you'll find out when you move to malta
still hard work pays off, grats
Im not sure what to do tomorrow when I see her, should I shake her hand?? -Floofy
Rake on NL100zoom.it ranges I believe from 7% to 9% depending on playstyle. I pay slightly more than 8%. RB is the same as stars.com

Ty, maybe you are right I don't know, what matters to me is that there was improvement and that my efforts are giving increasingly better results. There were a couple guys who went from NL100.it to NL100.com in 2015 and they had about the same results, so I'm positive I can do better than BE when I move. We'll see. Anyway as I said previously the juicy games on .it are at NL400+. They always run with 1-2 recreationals and regs are so much worse compared to midstakes/highstakes regs on .com

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen
I think having clear goals in mind and visualizing yourself every single day succeeding in what you want to do leads to the quickest path you can take to success. Having trust in your own capabilities and believing success is inevitable (as long as you put in the right quality and amount of work) and never forgetting who you want to be and what you want to achieve will lead your subconscious mind to find the best ways at your disposal to reach your goal.
If anyone wants to be successful at anything they should only associate the word failure to quitting and everything else that doesn't go the right way is just a happy little accident that will eventually be fixed, understood and avoided in the future.
