I never watch MMA (except GSP for obvious reasons) but I'm glad I tuned in for this one. Holm was just spectacular. She stuck to her game plan and pretty much toyed with Ronda. Even before the final lethal kick/pounding you could tell she had the victory in the bag in the way she just pushed her down like she was garbage. Rough night for Ronda for sure. It reminded me a lot of GSP vs Serra. It's funny because at the very beginning of the fight I was telling my friends "it looks like Ronda has never been punished for being overconfident and overaggressive and it looks like she will never stop until someone punishes her". Hopefully she will come back from this like GSP did and owing Holm a lot for teaching her to get on another level like GSP did.

Conor grew on me a little the way he acted after beating Mendes as he showed some humility and emotion for the first time. I'm sure he only acts the way he does to hype fights, trying to create a draw etc. He's certainly successful at doing so, he def gets people to love him or hate him (me included obv), but I still much prefer the guys who go about their business without the need to hype fights, talk shit etc. I accept what he does is smart in terms of creating revenue and I expect he's a much nicer person outside of mma, but I like the quiet and humble guys and don't really like those who run their mouths and hype fights in the way Conor does, he's just not my kind of person. I'm not sure about Aldo, I've never taken a dislike to him from interviews etc but maybe he's done things outside the cage that I don't know about? How come you dislike him?
