Added another bet to Werdum +437.

Both guys are tired, but Cain is cut and he's eating shots as he walks in.

The reason he could do that in his prime was because of his continuity and his opponents tension. It was an illusion. I'm not sure that that statement is true yet, will see in 15 mins.

Cain got hit by a knee to the face, but Joe Rogan missed it. Cain got tagged up afterward!

Heh. Glad I even had the balls to take Werdum by Submission + Werdum by TKO/KO on top of Werdum ML and Cain by TKO/KO.And avoided U2.5.

So glad I didn't bet against Werdum again.

Fedor - Check
Mexican Fedor - Check
Black Fedor - LHW?

We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.Last edit: 14/06/2015 05:46

Velasquez/Werdum u2.5 +110 $15 for $16.50
Velasquez/Werdum u2.5 -115 $11.50 for $10
Werdum round 1 $2.60 for $36.27
Werdum submission +900 $3 for $27
Werdum +5.5 +264 $15 for $39.60
Werdum decision +1755 $5.00 for $87.75
Werdum +437 $10 for $43.70

Glad I won money, but fuck... I had an $800+ parlay with Cain, Aldo, and Rory left that I've had going for 2+ months...

I remember knowing that Werdum was the best heavyweight in the world after watching his old skills combined with the level of his last few fights, none of you also had that feeling?

I'm surprised because I thought it was a very obvious feeling to have. Like I had the exact thought "hes the best most well rounded heavyweight in the world" The levels at which he beat Fedor (being calm) Mark Hunt (leveling him into a perfect knee) and some of the other stuff I saw it was a very distinct thought "that man is the best heavywieght int he world". Like if we were playing magic, he would cost more mana to cast than Velasquez, Werdum is a 7 casting cost , Velasquez is like a 5.
Lol. Comical analogy. I'm laughing at myself now.

Yea Minsk I watched all his recent fights on fight pass and felt exactly the same way a couple weeks ago.

I never thought Werdum was the best heavy weight in the world and I still think he's a very beatable champion. Velasquez had a much stronger 'invincibility aura' than he has. Being out of competition for 2 years plus fighting at high altitude took a lot off him. Looking forward to watching his next fight. I'm very happy for Werdum though.

btw now Werdum has a sick sick sick resume, having beat all the 3 hw goat: fedor, minotauro and velasquez - all by submission

All props and glory to Werdum, but it did seem like something was really off, just a few minuts in, he seem to be drained, which looked really weird. Like he had to use spare tank, and was warrioring through the rest of it, just givin his all, regardless of struggling just to stand.

Really looked like he had no power left. Maybe Werdum so good that it looks silly, or that he just got fatigued super quick due to altitude.

I'm not saying hes unbeatable at all, just that hes the best heavyweight int he world, and it was very clear. I don't think hes that far above #2,#3, hes actually not a 7, hes more like a good 6 or shitty 7. While Cain is likely a 5, but possibly even a 4.. or a 6 casting cost.

That drain was simply because werdum wasn't fighting him. Werdum knew two things, 1) how to relax and 2) not to even fucking worry about Cains punches. HE ENDED UP WITH MORE ENERYGY, all the other fighters that Cain fought didn't relax and panicked or tried to heavily avoid his punches and hurt him, THEY HAD NO ENERGY LEFT TO FIGHT HIM.

And his relaxation was deep enough to actually outlevel and be slow enough to time Cain and coutner him. It's just a stylistic edge more than anything. At first thought Werdum wouldn't have an edge against JDS. But I'm not positive.
Cain > JDS > Werdum > Cain

Lost $15.00 on the night, would've won a shit ton if I was completely wrong in every way about the main event. GG #ifeeldumb :/

velasquez's hands are not soft, iirc both fights were he dominated jds started out with strong punches that truly rocked jds and then he built a large advantage after that
