UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier - Page 8

DC didn't look 'scared' to me. He's anxious and hates Jones. Scared of Jones himself is a serious stretch, give me a break. I'm sure he'll be nervous as shit after all the shit talking and just the magnitude of the moment, and Jones is just a killer with a serious mental advantage.

Anyway, as I've said and not to beat a dead horse, but Jones is going to win this fight, I'm pretty damn confident and very happy with the odds. It's just not a good match-up for Cormier. I laid out way earlier in this thread how I think the only way Cormier wins (the simplistic "his wrestling is so good he's going to ragdoll Jones" is absurd), and he will have to fight the absolutely perfect fight with the perfect blend of aggression, wrestling, and well-timed heavy hands in and out of the clinch, which is very hard to do when your so pumped full of emotion.

Above all else, this is a huge fight for the UFC and MMA in general and I really hope its exciting. That doesn't mean we need hay makers and Hendricks/Lawler style punching exchanges. That's not gonna happen. But if this fight just has a good blend of parody and back and forth, it will be exciting just due to the sheer magnitude. I really do hope for that.

Its obvious that hes at least anxious. Even if this was a little harmless chess game, he has to be anxious because obviously it will make a massive money/fame difference if he wins this. But in addition to this, Dan isn't an idiot and he realize there is a good chance he gets his first loss and gets a severe beating...

I'll live bet Jones after he gets taken down, but if he stops the take downs, I'll try to bet the fight to end ITD or u4.5 rounds.)
