Anyways i just hope this fight doesn't end up being the most hyped one and yet one side with a domination nation by JBJ, cause I wouldn't trust any hype train about the UFC ever again, but guess thats my problem

Btw how do sponsor contracts work in the UFC? If the UFC cuts Nike as a brand, why would Nike cut their sponsored fighters? Shouldn't they actually go for as many fighters as possible to sign, so they still get promoted? Or does the UFC forbid the fighters to do so ?

The hype train has only been focused on their hatred towards each other, skill wise there has been no need for hype at all, its not like against Gustafson when they had to be "he is fighting a tall guy omg!"

So nobody knows if its going to be a rape or not but on paper its going to be a good fight

His killing the kings are the best. His ones on Silva & Barao basically laid the blueprints to how Weidman & TJ beat them. Weidman doubled up on a right hand and forced Silva to move into his left hook, just like Jack said he would. And TJ's feints & movement confused the shit out of Barao, just like Jack said the could. Also I think his killing the king talked about how to take away GSPs jab, which Hendricks basically did, which should of won him that fight.

I don't think Cormier is capable of doing the stuff he talks about there though. I've never seen Cormier use much lateral movement or the whole jab + crouch thing. Here's hoping though.

If I was a camp/fighter I'd legit hire Jack to help write break downs and game plans for me. Dude is so sick.

The minute Cormier takes an eye-poke he'd be very wise to sell the shit out of it and not try and be a tough guy.

I think Jones needs to hire a new publicist, walk him through stuff and pick the right kind of things they should project. I honestly think now he's a good chill dude that's just misunderstood. He will probably get more love/hate after this fight so how he handles a win or a loss will probably turn his career in extreme opposite directions after the fight.

I highly doubt it. You think he's gone this long without a top notch PR team? I think he's a very weird and unpredictable individual. One minute he wants to be Randy Couture and the next minute Muhammad Ali, the next Floyd Mayweather. All those guys wore masks, but if you paid attention you could sort of see the human beneath. With Jones it's pretty much impossible. He's more like that kid in class that you and your boys joke about years later how he's probably some serial killer now with a dungeon for a basement. That deadspin article really sorta sealed the deal on my opinion on him. I almost feel bad for the guy. He's just such a weirdo.

When it all comes down to it I don't care much, and neither will most people in the long run. He'll be fine as long as he fulfills his potential as the GOAT. Than people will just embrace the weirdness as part of what made him great. That's my opinion anyway.

I just watched these videos and saw DC cnanged so much.

He obviously realised that something extraordinary has to happen in order for him to win.
It sounds like he got it how it will look when Jon beats the shit out of him and is now preparing for the usual bullshits to say after the fight to stay relevant(it was not my night, i will get better and i will win it and so on...)
I think this will be the only time DC fights for the title though,because he can not come through Gus and Rashad and he is old too.
My prediction is he loses to Jon,fights one or two more times at LHW and goes back to HW looking to become the next Chael.

Of course he's going to lose. Y'all bought in to the Dana and Joe hype juice again and I've seen it so many times here. It was only that Weidman fight that really turned out to be a self fullfilling prophecy, and Silva helped a lot by acting like a retard / breaking legs, the rest were elite wrestlers getting beat up by top 3 strikers always. Nobody wants to fight Jon Jones, not Anthony Johnson, Phil Davis and anybody in LHW(even Gus who "surprised us all" - but clearly lost that fight) while Cormier in HW will get snapcalled by JDS, Werdum,Cain, Browne.

Like Jones said, DC talked so much shit he's going to put insane pressure on himself come fight day, which is what we're seeing now

I can not believe what UFC is doing here.Instead of riding the JJ bahnwagen they are going with their support to an old man with no future in the next 2-3 years and as exiting as a fighter as Jon Fitch is.
JJ is the most underrated guy there.If they had a little sense they would not allow anyone forget who Shogun,Rampage,Machida,Rashad and Glover were at the time they faced JJ and got smoked. Instead of doing the only smart thing to keep on putting Jones as the best fighter there and maybe of all time,they are looking for ways to criticize him and underrate his achievments.It is insane.
Dana is making a huge mistake here offending Jon ,just to prove he is the Big Shot.And he is, but sometimes ego is fucking making you do some dumb ass things.
Do you guys think there is a chance as Bellator is getting bigger they can profit from these mistakes and maybe sign JJ and other stars that are not beloved by the UFC(in 2-3 years i mean)?

I mean the UFC is on DC'side here so obviously.They represent him as the olympian,great athlete and so on.
Look the brawl started because of DC.You can not push or hit someone in the neck on staredowns.People touch heads so often,but they do not hit the other guy ever. The explanation of DC that nobody on this earth can not touch him is RIDICULOUS.And the UFC is not criticizing him.Someone pushes your biggest star for no reason and start a fight at MGM and you are on his side .OMG really. He is working for Fox Sports which makes it even worse.
And the UFC is painting JJ in dark shades,but DC in hero shades.WTF really?I did not know they hate Jon so much.I expect an action figure soon of an old fat man throwing shoes around .
JJ's winning streak is the most impressive in the UFC history(no doubt about it).He cleaned out the best division in the UFC at that time.For example Silva,Aldo,MM have great winning streaks but their wins are not nearly impressive.They just fought bad guys in general.But JJ fought hall of famers and made them look like kids.Not with clowning ,but by beating them the way nobody has ever seen and imagine even.That's why i think JJ is the most underrated champ.
