No one is disputing that he is a super impressive champ inside the ring. It's most everything outside of it that makes him difficult to linearly market and something that's apparently difficult for you to separate. And seeing as how you somehow think that brawl was completely on DC's shoulders...welll...it's like you're the delusional part of Jon's personality that is so confused as to why he's not a beloved person as he continually acts like a condescending 17 year old prick. So yeah it must be hard to understand this promotion.

Oh cmon Silva and Weidmann practically kissed, McGregor is probably the most irritating person @ staredowns yet none of his escalated that much either. There are practically tons of staredowns with vast amounts of pressure yet neither has gone to that extend. He put his face in yours so your first reaction is to push him away, thats not weak at all... I'm not justifying the infantile response by Jones to try and punch him, I do understand it though exactly because its to be expected by someone like him. While DC is pretending to be such a nice cool guy all honest and so strong, pure bullshit. Both are massive hypocrites, except one of them is willing to go to the extreme, while the other pretends he is but does the opposite.

The UFC isn't 'taking DC's side'. The UFC is there to make money. Fake Jon Jones trying to be a good religious person doesn't sell. No one buys it. He needs to go heel, the UFC knows it, and he's starting to realize it. It's simple marketing, the UFC knows what its doing, and Cormier is doing a great job of pulling the hateable Jones out for the public to feast on. Everyone wins, including Jones.

Only a few thoughts after the weigh-ins:

1. Dufrense weighed in at 138. If she doesn't attempt to cut the extra 2 pounds, she will have a better performance tomorrow.
2. Brad Tavares looked the best he's ever looked during the weigh-ins.
3. Cormier looked retarded as he paced around the stage after he got off the scale. Also, Jones weighed in and faced the audience; Cormier stood backwards and showed the audience his back.

I honestly think that more than half of Jon Jones chance to lose comes from a disqualification or something weird.

Cormier looked anxious and scared as fuck tbh. No idea if he usually looks the same way before a fight though, first weigh in of his I've ever seen might be standard for him

I can't imagine how DC will beat Jones in stand up and the ground. If he were as tall and long as Gus then I'd understand all the hype.
Jones has beaten better competition 15 UFC fights, Cormier has beaten like 4 guys in the UFC. Jones has championship, 5 round experience, has been in deep water a couple times,arguably destroyed better guys, elite rangey and crafty striker, solid wrestling, 5 inch reach and height advantage, the list goes on.

All I hear from DC fans are "Jones has never faced an Olympian elite wrestler..." if this was early 2000 UFC Circa Mark Coleman, Randleman I'd toy with the idea DC has a chance here. Jones will not be wrestled to a loss that's for sure.

Several people have fought scared before. Rashad has fought scared against a ton of guys. Such as Jones.

Pretty sure people do get super nervous/scared. Many simply overcome it though.

GSP says he's scared but it rarely ever shows during weigh ins. Cormier pacing around and having Brendan Schaub eyes scared, its a reach but look carefully - he looks petrified. j/k
