Key thing to realize is that it's not about any one thing that you do but how you conduct the whole of your life.

If, in order to stop fapping, you browse LP or do some other random unproductive shit to 'take your mind off it', you've missed the point.

You need to put your brain's motivational systems to work to do actual productive shit. Replacing fapping with other unproductive shit is not going to reset your brain. You're still after cheap dopamine rush.

Replacing fapping with, say, exercise would be a great idea. Or you only fap after having completed some step in your life ambitions. That puts your brain's reward systems to good use. Train your brain to be productive in order to get pleasure, when most of us are training our brains to get the most pleasure when we sit around and waste time.

I haven't been able to get a full on erection since giving up porn.

Appetite however seems to have improved dramatically. I used to hate food/waste time eating; it felt like a chore. Lately I somewhat look forward/enjoy food.

day 10, still on cruise control. pretty much once you're past day 3 its a cake walk. I believe there is some 'flatline' period which i may well be in, when you lose all desire temporarily.

Ive actually been running every morning before work this week. Im not sure no fap had anything to do with this, maybe it did. I guess i know i can sit around on the internet like usual and not revert to rubbing one out like ive done pretty much daily for over half my life, then i can probably drag my ass out of bed and go out for a jog. Its the first time since a long time i actually get out of bed earlier than 10 minutes before i have to leave for work.

Ive been doing various "self improvement" things lately:

- no fap/porn
- upgrading my wardrobe from maiden shirts to manly shit.
- losing weight, currently down 10kg since late last year.
- stopped drinking caffeine.
- dont drink as much beer, limited it to weekends and will cut it back to 1 day per week.

If you have gf/fiancee/wife I recomend some sites blocker sofware (for example ProCon Latte Content Filter - free, easy to use). Tell gf/wife to set password on porn sites, and hold this password. Works for me since few months(with some "vacations". All porn sites are blocked. Dotalicious page (I am/was also addicted to dota - seems like most of you are also) also. And I have torrentz.com blocked, to not be able to download porn via torrents.

Watch for some site blockers, in some of them you type to block xxx site and you can't open your gmail account or just google starting page since it has some connections to porn sites (everything has to certain extent some connection with porn).

And, yes, if you don't fap 3times/day you have more energy and time.
