Hmm, why were you seated? You could as well have laid down... Whenever you are in such a negative situation you should be in alert / highly responsive mode. Being seated is just terrible for so many reasons. And seriously, when there are 3 big guys around you and they are saying they will mess you up, it's not a brilliant idea to respond with "how". You have got to be more cautious when you are traveling.

the thing is I would never ever ever ever guess they would go violent against me really, kinda silly of me but yeah. I said "how" cause I genuinely did not understand what the guy meant with "I will fire you up" cause I've never heard that meaning "I will beat you" or something like that. the how was more like "wtf you mean fire me up?". silly me

You don't have a right to your money back, it all depends on store policy. Some stores allow you to return items for money and some only allow you to exchange it for store credit. You should probably ask this before making a purchase in which the cost is high enough to upset you if you couldn't return it.

It's not socially retarded, but it's average sheep mentality approach. Emotions running high, little to no use of the front part of your brain, being a puppy to your emotion instead of being awesome and analytical.

if someone seems mad at you and they use the word fire in a sentence its probably a pretty safe bet that they are meaning to harm you in some way

So if there is no law that obliges them to refund just replace, basically you came in asking for something you weren't entitled to then started scaring off customers? Nice move man.
