easy call, only 77 beats you unless he slowplayed QQ, u got outs and nice odds in case he has that and beat all bluffs/semibluffs

pot is 68$ on the river i have 66$ behind. i thought that if he was semibluffing the turn he will shove the river often enough for a call, right?

idk i'm gonna say that he had qq or 77.. probably 77, I felt like they had it every time in this spot when I was playing these games

soulread time, the 8 is a bad card because now a couple more hands beat you like 65, JT and 98 , i guess 65 isn't really in his range from sb, we all hate folding and u don't really know much about him so i would call, expect 77 a lot but it's NL100 in my experience where people experiment the most by far with weird plays

I think you should bet this flop, you are giving away too much equity vs overs, draws etc , if you had A9 fe Id like the check better. But also you are very close to the top of your range here in this spot so there is value there too and you define your hand too so its somewhat easier to play.

I think it's the flop is a spot where you can kinda switch up how you play so you are a little less predictable, so checking may not be the optimal play every time but I think it's fine sometimes.

he's a nit, but like you said, he can definitly overplay hands (while potting)

good point thanks. what if the flop was 9dQc2h? In that case, not having the BD draws, would a check or a cbet be better?

I dont really think there is a huge difference tbh, q92 is obv less connected so he can call you with less stuff but on the other hand its also why you will bet it more as a bluff so it balances out I guess.

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN
