I'd call because it's SB vs BB, and you look weak.

i only call if he can have at least a few of the following in his range: KJ KQ 87 86 or worse value. dont think hes turning 9x into a bluff enough otherwise. think it comes down to whether he 3bets KQ/KJ, bets them on the turn, and how he plays 87 86. if he can have even T9/KJ/87 i think it becomes a call. but if for some reason he never has KJ/KQ/T9/87 then you gotta make an exploitive fold. without reads have to call cause unless you were being tricky you have the complete top of your range but not happy about it.

optimal play is 100% call it's not rly a spot unless you check nutted hands or JQ on he turn interesting question is worst hand we call
Exploitively I have no idea, are people really too tight NL400 BvB? you did cap your range there.

this makes no sense and not it isnt an 100% call in optimal play, also villian isnt going to overbet exploit us when we check call this turn.

In fact your hand is pretty much as strong as any raggy ace, villian is not value overbetting a worse 2 pair here ever so its all about his bluffing frecuency here and against most oponents its a fold

There must be a tool that generates hand discussion replies by using poker terms and concepts totally randomly.

such a problem in every poker hand discussion nowaways, how to over-use poker terms without understanding them, just name dropping the terms

of course I check nutted hands on the turn, too many people just float on bb vs sb

Isnt turn pretty much best line most of the time? I mean double barrelling there turns our hand into a bluff and gets value out of really thin range ... seems pretty stnd?
Is river considered a bluff catch basically?

Lol i like the idea:

Your range is totally capped in a vacuum, so you need to depolarize it with an exploitive merge but thats only if metagame is relevant, otherwise just stick with game theory optimal and check/call most of your range especially if you have blockers to his nuttier hands.

it depends on how you select the hands that make up your calling frequency when trying to play close to optimal/unexploitable especially if villains bluffing % is unknown or he's balanced as well, Ike Zazano etc. decide it based on absolute hand strenght and kicker + blockers mostly for simplicity it makes the frequency easier to control.

Ike talks about this:

Dude, step back and look at the big picture for a second.

You have been struggling with penny limits for years and your bankroll is less than your postcount. Do you really think you should be giving advise? You should be mindful of the damage you can cause if people mistake it as valuable.

I am not young enough to know everything.

I dont know how you can consider folding here without some read that the guy never gets out of line... also do you really cc the nuts on the turn? if you do because you expect him to be floating too much how can you fold here?
Actually yeah i guess river is pretty bad but still...
