I swear there has to be some correlation between (I'm not saying every one of them) highly motivated, driven people and same-sex attraction. Some of these people were homophobic, but just as many identified as straight and did not express any homophobic opinions. Most these people have a strong spiritual component to them (ie. christians).
I don't think I'm just projecting this .. I will consider accusations that I am instead socially inept and don't understand certain social ques but I don't think that is the case.
anyone else notice this?

basically:
I've interacted with a lot of highly-driven people who are successful in their field. In this time I have noticed many subtle hints of same-sex attraction, which I have not noticed in my dealings with averagely performing people.

maybe its that I pay more attention to successful people than I pay to the average person, so I'm noticing normal frequencies of secret homos in these groups and underestimating the frequency in "average people".. there are tons of things that could be interfering with my perspective.
ps. I am hardcore bullshitting on the internet.. of course I am procrastinating on an assignment due tonight.

yes christians are extremely gay, but what about buddists? for all we know they enjoy the cock just as much as christians do but you are just less likely to interact with them, unlike the gay christians you are constantly in touch with. |

I have not. But you can probably make a correlation study about it (lol). However I'm wondering what your theoretical basis for this is. A little feeling is kind of vague to make such a bold statement.

I just can't see the connection? But perhaps being gay makes you work harder overall (because you have to struggle and fight harder for acceptanse!) - thus the causal explanation is that gay people work harder, not that harder work ehtics make people gay.
