never risk more than 50% of ur BR in one day. although playing 25nl is fine stop when you are down a few buyins.

you gotta run good, put in the hard yards so it evens out. stick to bankroll management NL10 gogogo. make the right adjustments then pwn it up.
then tell me what the adjustments were ^_^_^

suggestion:
play 2-4 6 max $10nl until $250, repeat at $25nl and go back to $10nl if bankroll goes down below $200, leave tables after u have more then 75% increase in stack size if the table has many big stacks, repeat at $550 for $50nl, back down to $25nl at $400 === very quick and relatively low risk : reward ratio.

Playing few tables u will pick up in the random newb styles of microstakes and should beat them fairly quickly and move up very quickly by following said formula.

Sean, I dunno what it was that forced you to cashout your bankroll, but it seems like something serious. Perhaps you should try and take a break? Playing a game as emotionally swingy as poker when already not feeling great seems like a recipe for disaster.

I'm sure if you continued to play you'd get back to crushing eventually, but maybe peace of mind is worth a break.

losing 12.5bi @ 25nl is pretty hc.

NL25 is completly different from the stakes you play, people will call you down very light, even if it sounds very nice it's not. The NL25 players will almost never run big bluffs, when they push their stacks in they have a hand, it can be top pair (which is the nuts for them) or a monster but they don't do it with airballs. The only time they try to bluff is by betting small on the river hoping you hold A hi and will fold to their blocking bets.

Besides the regular 60/4/1 passive stations you'll encounter the 60/25/7 lagtard maniacs who will raise everytime and call all your bets oop, they can't fold a hand but unfortunatly for you they'll run good for 20 mn then triple up and leave to vomit their money later on. And finally, the regs tagfishes, the ones you can exploit the most easily because they're so weak postflop they'll almost never give you action w/o the nuts.

Your LAGish style won't work at this limit, you should open up more tables and start being a little bit more passive and chose your spots for agression, unfortunatly you need to get cards to beat this limit as when you enter a pot you'll likely go to showdown most of the time.

also day, if u play with a hud u should be able to adjust accordingly no matter what the limit is, just get ur fold to cbet / call pfr / aggressions on each street sorted and u'll be fine
