digdog166: raises $17.50 to $32
k2o4 : raises $227.30 to $259.30 and is all-in
i think if u r that deep u just can raise more and fold to the shove...idk maybe im a nit

No way you can fold to a donk with a set of queens are you crazy?
Don't you hate it when a donk gets your money and distributes it like dinner at an orphanage to all the other players EXCEPT YOU?!?! Pisses me off to no end. |

I know man, it's maddening.
but that guy wasn't the donk, he was a good player. Not sure I can get away from that. The donk had no outs when he sucked out...

That's how the donk treated me = |

I'd call and see a river.
he isn't calling that shove without a set himself or better imo.
and I dont think he is betting like an idiot on the turn as a bluff, he is a pretty solid player from what i've seen playing against him. |

that QQ is really bad so deep. it's very hard for him to have any hand other than a flush the way he played it and given the board texture. JJ reraises preflop, AQ is really unlikely as you have 2 queens and prob reraises preflop and if not then most likely on the flop, AJ is more likely to raise flop than calls flop than raise turn and may not even call a shove if he does have that, QJ is unlikely and isn't a strong hand on this board anyway so it's unlikely he plays it this way, A7 almost certainly won't call a shove and he probably doesnt play it this way, 77 folds flop. KT is still possible and a flush, those are prob the only hands that make much sense. just flat and try to hit a boat, shove if you do and try to show it down pretty cheaply if you don't. the board texture is such that it's hard for him to have too much because most of the hands that hit that board hard reraise preflop and he's clearly representing a flush with that line so no need to overbet shove in another 150bb when you're pretty much only getting called by better. if you were 100bb deep starting he hand shoving wouldn't be too horrible cause you protect your hand from a lot of bad rivers, get called by worse as he's more committed etc. |

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope | |

yeah, I figured I didn't play that one very well, but at the same time it was the best hand I hit all night in a serious stinkfest and I had really lost my perspective. Ended up moving to 2 tables later tonight so that I could get myself to actually THINK THROUGH situations rather than just going "SET = PUSH"
oh well, 2 tabling went better but still down for the day yet again. Looked through and had like 4 huge pots lost on bad beats and 2 huge pots lost on complete donk moves by me, heh.
I dunno, gonna tone down the # of tables for a bit to 2-4 (mainly 2) till I feel like I'm actually THINKING about what I'm doing rather than just getting it all-in with anything decent. |
