When to move up to NL25

How many hands have you played at 10nl and what winrate ? if you are crushing 10nl i would move up already.

meh I'm doing good, not using PT3 or HEM yet, but definately 4BB/100+ but will take Rapozas advice and just move up at 1K

its a nice round number I guess.

move up now and drop down when you hit 500 rinse and repeat, with 4BB(8bb?) you can agressively attack nl25(24bi is not that agressive with that winrate) especially since nl25 is not much harder than nl10, atleast that would be my advice in your spot but you cant go wrong with bigger bankroll anyway

Advice for deadman:
How important is money for you right now?
Do you need to make X amount of money to live?
What would you do if you go broke?
Do you consider moving up and down in limits is a waste of time?

If money was not an issue for me and didn't have to make X amount of money a week/month to live or have bills to pay I would for sure be aggressive with my bankroll, specially at microstakes. If you have nothing to lose just go for it, you played NL100 FR a while ago so why should you be taking this approach when moving from NL10 to NL25?

lol i moved up to 25nl from 10nl at 1k just this month. I liked having a bigger roll so downswings didn't affect me that much as I noticed I would get tilted more when my roll was smaller. I did play more agressively though after playing 50nl just a couple days after because I didn't feel it was too different from 25 and ran pretty well. I guess it depends on when you feel ready .

I'm honestly planning to go to 25NL as soon as I got 500$. If I lose a couple of BI right away I'll just go back to NL10 and juggle between the variance until I break it.

45-50 buy ins, constantly take shots then move down when u get under 40 buy ins

Move up now and move back down if you fall below 500. 50 Bi at nl10 is more than enough for you with that winrate so what are you afraid of?

It depends on how good you are(objectively), and your risk tolerance. The worse you are, the bigger the roll and the smaller the stakes you want.

I suggest taking shots, play less tables, and give yourself a 1-2 buy-in stop loss when you do. It's a good way to build confidence, have fun, learn faster, and make more money. If you lose, move back down to your comfort zone.
