First off I like to say: Really Sick Site!! Easily the Funnest poker Forum on the web. So I started myself a little blog here, mostly because it´s fun and because I want a way to keep track of my little poker adventure on FullTilt. I signed up for 100$ free no deposit offer(left upper corner) and I´m going to try and build a roll out of it to play at least NL50 and hopefully NL100 after that. Here is how i was planning to do this:
-Play NL10 six max with half a buy in per table
-when i reach 150 buy Holdem manager (I have never played with software before)
-move up to NL25 when I got about 350-400
-move up to NL50 when I got about 800
-ofcourse analyze my sessions here, and post hands.
hardest part is going to play disciplined since I lack even the tiniest bit of it. I tend to get real spewy and bet everything only time I really can make money is when Im running really good, though I know i can play at least half decent. so first session starting now.. for you who care ive written a little about myself down here, dont know if thats ussual on sites like these but i guess i kinda felt like it. yeah rock on
I´m 18 years old live in Sweden since i moved here 3 years ago from Holland. Going to school here which is okay but I have done funner things. I enjoy playing guitar, playing Poker and practicing Yoga. Since I'm 18 I haven´t got that much poker experience. I recently joined a little poker club in the neighborhood which hold tourneys with a 20 to 30$ buy in twice a week. before that I´ve been playing with friends on Fridays or Saturdays mainly. Online I have mostly been playing on Prima network NL20. cashed out my roll of 600$ to go on vacation to Holland which was sick :D. Spend new years eve in Amsterdam should seen my friend pissed of his face running out on the streets to shake hands with literary all the people that were driving their cars on the road, he would just make stop em and have em turn down their windows and shout trying to top the fireworks noise how sick 2009 was gonna be. hopefully my roll will be as sick in a few weeks.. uhm months.. (sometime at least)

Today I wont write like an whole book, cuz tonights its party me and a friend is joining up with 3 nice girls tonight for lots of drinking and just having a great time. Then its off the the pub/nighclub. Will be nice, have been lying pretty much home sick sinse christmas, so feels great to be out in the field again :D
The last days have gone pretty bad, I've played tones of hands but there has been lots of badbeats and coolers. For example I checked out my biggest losers the today.
The list was not very nice:
1: AKo -57$
2: KK -34$ AND only 59% winrate, gone all in preflop 10 of 20 times (tells pretty much huh? SICK) most of flops where just perfect with flopping overpair on dry and nice board. Though the runners hasnt been nice to me.
3: QQ -21$
4: 88 -19$ (flopped 2 sets with 88 today, once i got sucked out on by a nice river straight, money went in turn. 2nd one i ran into AA who hit his set on turn, gratz to him.. not ^^)
But what do you do? I got the money in mostly when my hand was best so w/e.
AA is the only one that has been nice to me today =)only been dealt 5 times over 4.5k hands though wich is PRETTY sick right? but they where like the only big winners, stacked of 4 times i think of those 5 wich was nice.
been playing 14 tables today aswell and you guys maybe know the feeling when u just dont get cut some slack on like any table, puke! =D
Allthough im pretty happy with the end of my session, hope i will get to cooler someone later this weekend, tonight is beernight!
Feels great to still be sticking in NL10 cuz the old me would not have the diciplin to play for so many hours with such shitty $/h. Now its all about building it slow!
Running decent. Won a flip, turned 2p vs Tp and got 3 streets of value, rivered 2p vs a turned 2p to resuck and get value, had 2 players shove on me when I had the best hand, and I made some good folds in tough spots which I think saved me money so it was winning session instead of a break even one. Only took about 2.5 buyins according to HEM but I think somethings wrong cause I thought I had 4.5k at the start of the session and now have 4.9k.
Anyway kept the session kinda short and am gonna exercise/eat and then play some more. Funny cause I'm feeling a bit nervous cause I don't want another losing day so I gotta get that outta my system. This could be a huge winning day if I just grind and play as perfectly as I can.
Just got back from a snowboarding trip in Åre, Sweden. As I was there I came to the realization that I really dont want to move back to my appartment and just grind poker after this. Im just tired of living in a small town in sweden when I could be living anywhere in the world as long as I have a solid internet connection. Also, if all goes well I will go back to school in the fall and this months up to that might be the only opportunity to do a long trip I will have in a long time.
A long dream of mine has been to go boarding in Canada where the best powder snow in the world is to be found. I have the money, I have the time. Why the fuck wouldnt I? Gogo imo! Just gotta sort a bunch of stuff out before I go, like, find a place to live and stuff. Im pretty pshyced about the whole idea of it though and I cant believe I didnt think of this earlier.

Heading to AC with some buddies this weekend. I'm playing the $340 PLO Event on Saturday which should be quite interesting since it'll be my first PLO event LIVE. I intend to play some intense roulette while I'm there. Throw out your favorite numbers here and I'll be sure to include it!
I should expect some sick soft cash games this weekend and I'm hoping to win some moniessss this weekend (BLINGGGG). Maybe some PLO games will run too -_-. I'm a PLO degen and love the action so I'm expecting a lot from this weekend.
Pokerwise I feel I've grown a ton in my MTT endeavors and become a contender among the field of regulars that always play. I've hit a few nice scores and can comfortably play the limits and sngs that I please. Many close friends know that I've gone a long way from where I was and I'm glad I've had them pull me through it all.
As usual, if anyone is around this weekend feel free to shoot me a PM or something and we can all do some grinding together, etc. It's always nice to meet some of the LP community.
Not even going to bother posting a graph, since I only played 170 hands before playing this hand http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/609401 which made me feel a twinge of tilt so I quit on the spot, which put me at like 44ptbbs/100 for the day hahaha.
Anyways, I've decided to move back up to NL10 now that I feel good about the work I did on my game at NL5. I think I'm starting to "get" what it means when people said how Poker isn't about "your two cards". It's about relative position, opponents' positions, their tendencies (stats, reads), the cards they most likely have from those tendencies, the cards THEY think YOU have given your tendencies and the fact that They know that I know their tendencies. I feel like I'm starting to unlock the puzzle that will make poker even more "fun" for me .
Isolating limpers and cbet intelligence are probably the two biggest factors that will determine how successful my 'practice' at NL5 pays off at NL10. Gotta be careful not to isolate stations though and of course, not to commit my stack with marginal holdings, or even good holdings if the board renders my hand marginal.
I hope to be able to post a decent sample size graph tomorrow.
NL10's FR has been nice, the low variance feels so good after a year of crazy variance play, i could get used to this nit ring lol
I consider myself a FR player again, I'll play PLO when the games are juicy and I'm in the mood to player higher variance, but not anytime in the near future. (want atleast 60bi for PLO, don't want a 10-40bi DS to put me on supermegatilt when I can easily avoid the game until I'm sufficiently rolled for it, its not even that fun or much more profitable, as well as my PT can't track it), 18-max tabling is also fun, way less marginal situations
:: edit :: I'm going to treat omaha the same as HU and only play 1 limit lower than my current limit, changing my guide now to re-inforce later, the variance has beaten me down and I will not allow it again.
The only downfall is i'm havin motivation problems since i'm on nl10...its kinda hard to sit and put in a good 5+ hour session, my last 3 sessions add up to like 3-4 hrs
so heres my chart of nl10 so far, mind you i'm playing 20+ tables 95% of the time so I avoid a few marginal situations here and there that I could potentially win more bb/100 more if I were playing less tables, but max tables is way more profitable obv
I'm also gonna stress that I took off fast tables, and having pokerstars not fold aces cuz I took 2 seconds too long making a decision on another table, has really improved my play and comfort at the table.
I'm not playing fast tables anymore anywhere, I think its ridiculous and will only do it when there aren't enough games going on and I'll play less tables to make up for it and seperate the fast from the normal speed tables on different monitors.
OK heres my graph so far, played 4 days, 1 long session and a few 1-2 hour sessions
I'm going to post graphs with my blogs for now instead of stats which were generally for my own purposes to see where I was playing on a day to day basis with the results I had.

I just wanted to make a quick blog post to say how amazed I am at this Pilot who safely landed a plane with failed engines on the Hudson River and had ZERO FATALITIES.
I can't imagine the amount of skill, courage, and calmness under pressure necessary to facilitate this but I really think this is one of the most amazing news stories of recent times. This guy is the definition of hero and deserves like 6,000 international medals of honor as far as I'm concerned.
I can't even wrap my head around it, it's such a miracle and beautiful thing.
