Called on turn b/c I believe I barely had the direct pot odds for a river heart or Ace, with implied odds putting me over the top.

However, it's entirely possible and perhaps likely(?) that villain has better than a pair, making the Aces useless.

Villain was like 45/10/3.

I have 3:1 pot odds to call, if my aces count then I have 11 outs, if not then 9 outs. 9/46 -> 37: 9 -> roughly 4:1 so I don't have direct pot odds, but I guess if he's willing to call a bet on river then it makes my call the correct move....

You need to put more stack pressure on him, on the flop you have a monster. I prefer betting a bit more on the flop- .90-1, the K isn't a bad card to barrel but again I'm not a fan of your weak half pot bet, if you flop something like this just start pumping the money in.

1.1 flop, c/r turn allin vs aggro player who will bet the king and lead the king vs passive players

Just remember you need to be god damn sure about their tendencies. -Artanis11 http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/neillyaa/

looks like a good call. Vs tricky people on higher stakes I might shove turn, but not here.
