Nice GIF by SfydjkLm, May 03

Stolen from Teamliquid.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y298/pppp7/1zv7bf6.gif

I'm not even a fan of Alba, but i find this GIF nothing but mesmerizing.

Also I make a commitment to post the pics some of you requested, of the view out of my apartment during the day tomorrow. I don't know why i procrastinate so much even on such minuscule things. FM.

lol Fisheye <3 by PplusAD, May 03

Tableratings has him as biggest winner today -> + 105K

watched him play vs bfl4me Nl20K HU
and some hilarious chat happend where both players showed some love :

bfl4me : nice overbet ( after bfl4me won the pot by calling a big river overbet with his set)
Fisheye : should have overbet bigger that u fold your set ( obviously being sarcastic)
bfl4me : Do u teach poker ? ( obviously being a sore loser )
Fisheye : Sry I will not teach u since i dont teach NITs

was pretty cool to see Fisheye back in action on Pokerstars.
Havent heared of his Poker results for months ... ( last thing i knew was he destroyed NL 5K at Party poker as Time2bustU)

Always cheering for the old starcraft gosus

Btw Germans best toruney player / Best FL online player/ best NL online player

FA_Morgoth / Schnibl0r/ Fisheye

pretty cool 3 Starcrafters being the german poker elite

May is good so far pokerwise for myself

900 hands NL50 HU + 176$ ( 3 hours 1 tabling)

Bonus cleared and April results by TheGuru, May 03

Another month passed by and on the positive side I played 20k hands (good by my standards) and cleared the rest of the full tilt bonus.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/9db8af6398f8020428fba84a744658f7.jpg

I finished the month with a result +$750 including bonus and rakeback. This was rather dissapointing. I think my biggest problem was losing focus and playing 6 tables to clear the bonus faster. It feels better afer switching back to 4 tables. Too bad it doesn't show up in the result yet...

Last month ugly graph:

If someone have the time to go through my biggest winners and losers I would really appreciate any comments. There are some standard hands and some really bad ones.

Sunday 1/4 by gustik, May 03

Hello guys again.

I'm here again after few days with a blog.

When I read my first blog today again I had to laugh, pplusad and others were so right. Why should I want a stake on stars when I have a solid roll on ongame? I started beating those 10usd sngs I had problem with and it feels great.

Anyway I would like to thank those few people that commented on my blog. It was kind of helpful and it opened my eyes. As I heard from a friend it's not good to have two separate bankrolls and playing different stakes on different sites. I don't know if it's right or not, I am not that experienced but I think he is right. And if I would like to do that, I can always withdraw like 1/3 of my roll and move it to other site.

In the end of my blog I would like to ask if there is anyone so nice that 'll be able to stake me to this Sunday 1/4 Million on Stars. I have some small experience with this tournament from the past and few days ago I started reading this tournament book Kill Everyone and started playing some small tourneys on Ongame too with various results. I kind of want to play it because I am very curious to play on this large field with tons of different playstyles etc, how I will be able to adapt and stuff, not for money too much so I can give like 80% for you if you stake me, if I finish in the money.

Thx guys for reading, one of my favorite remixes of this song to the end of my blog!

Paying to see! by NewbSaibot, May 02

So I decided to embark on a little experiment in curiosity, exploring villains' true range. I frequently get tilted at the situations I encounter, and feel I often have no idea wtf villain has. The only times I get to see are when we are stacking off or other typical showdown scenario's. But this has not been enough for me. I really really wanted to know what cards people are playing. So I gave myself a superuser account and simply elected to check/call all rivers if I had the nuts. If I was an obvious dog well then I folded when appropriate.

What I did was play a 0% AG postflop game. The idea here was using the best hand as insurance to see frequent showdowns. Forget about EV or making money, I need information. No this was not spewy tilt calls like "zomg you hit the flush, CALL". If I had quad aces I was checking flop/turn/river just so I could see what other people were limping, raising, minraising, and betting with.

Basically any hand I would normally bet, I checked. No matter what. Preflop was a different matter. Preflop I made my standard 5xBB open, because I still need to see what people are calling with preflop to better understand their postflop range. I cant learn anything by getting coolered from the blinds if I limp AA preflop.

Holy stromboli this game is weird, at least at MSNL. I would say there were 2 types of plays that I most frequently encountered

1) Massive slowplaying. I.E. players raising preflop and then checking back AA.
2) Massive bluffing. Players bluffing rivers with air was quite common.

I know most players at MSNL are limping damn near any two preflop, but it's how they play later streets that has me most concerned. It seems like everyone is always trying to do something fancy. I figured most players were always drawing out for a gutshot straight or calling off any pair. Maybe thats how it is perceived when you are the aggressor, otherwise what else can they be doing? But if you just check back every hand suddenly these guys have some sort of playbook.

Anyway, the only thing I really learned was that you absolutely positively must have showdown value at MSNL. While you might not be able to bluff fish out of pots, they sure as hell will try to bluff you.

Ethical Question... by Svenman87, May 02

A few days ago I thought it would be a pretty good idea to go 1/2's on a 1/4 short keg.

/insert pic
http://www.whigville.com/graphics/pony-keg.jpg

Anyways it came to about 55 bucks, he paid 20 and I paid 35. No deposit because we know the owners, not sure if that is a brag or a beat.... but anyways......
We end up drinking a lot of vodka before tapping the keg and we probably drink 1/6th of the pony keg between about 4 people.
The person who paid 20 was the guy who was mainly drinking from the pony keg.

We were supposed to get people together last night and try to drink this.
I didn't get a call and he didn't pick up his phone
Then I figured I'd call today, I call him today and he has the flu and is sick so obv can't party.

I have the keg in my fridge right now.
How long does one wait until I just say fuck it, I'll pay you your 20 bucks back and get something going by myself?

Tournament by Jimmit, May 02

Okey, I played a 0.10 rebuy tournament which really gone well in the start. I was top ten for 2 hours maybe, then I was outdrawn of AJ when I've got AK. So then it went out, and I finished at place 37 of 3014. The boring was that I only earned $3.10 for 4h 20min playing. The firstplace was well paid with a pot of $328.

Well, better luck next time.

Year so far by bober1, May 02

http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1152/pokerstarse.jpg
http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/6893/fulltiltq.jpg

So here's my graphs on the year so far, minus a few thousand hands on my laptop where im up like 2k. Im so frustrated and i have no idea whats going on anymore. School makes it so i can't play enough, and when i do play i just lose as of late. I definitely feel like im better than most of the people i play against, but i'm starting to wonder. Though when people watch me they say im playing mostly fine. I don't get it and i'm about to quit poker for a while. How do you guys all deal with this crap? Every time i start a session i get sucked out, coolered, or lose a big flip. And then i get angry because it keeps happening. I dont think ive booked a solid win for weeks. Hopefully it turns around soon or I'll need to stop for sure. This is so frustrating after last year where I had a super high win rate the entire time :.

cake poker is a rigged poker site. by Newblish, May 02

Either cake is rigged or nobody gets worse bad beats/coolers than i do. If you think you do - please exit this page and go away. Nobody gets bad beats worse than i do - that is a fact.

I just got it in good with 95% equity 3 times in a row and lost. That my friends is impossible unless the poker site is fixed. There is no explanation whatsoever otherwise. Not only that, but i would be flopping godly hands only to have them lose to a more godly hand. What is worse is that this was once again when i tried to take a Nl200 shot HU. As usual, i play just fine and lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose. I refuse to play on this piece of worthless fucking shit of a poker site ever again. PERIOD.

I have never been so sure in my mind that a poker site is rigged. Its impossible to run as bad as i did. I might even ask for playersonly(cake affiliate) to give me the hands and explain themselves.. its so obvious.. like impossible not to be rigged. The coolers/bad beats i got today were not possible under any circumstance unless the site is fixed.

This is me venting yes, but i will never play on this fixed poker site ever again.

I am owed upwards of 15k in bad beats/coolers on this site(and ive only sucked out like 2-3 in over 5 months in a big pot). Therefore my conclusion stands - there is no possibility that the percentages have gone the way they have unless the site is rigged.

If anyone does not like my post - go to hell and mind your own business.

Poker is such a stupid game.

@#$%#$% by ToTehEastSide, May 02

Not many things tilt me. This however, get's me reaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllly close.

I love the guise and denial of liberalism not being socialistic at all. At least this one admits the intent.
If these plans happen in full effect and there is still an America when I'm 64, I will have no pity for you democrats that are old with me as we get pushed to the bottom of the list for medical treatment because it has been deemed we are likely to die soon anyways so we're not really a priority for our now rationed resources that we don't have a choice of. I will be saying, "Reap what you sow u bitches!" then I'm sure I'll be trying to hit em with my cane.
I wish I could instantly ship all these lazy lahlah dreamworld freehandout wanting people here in America that want a "socialist one choice" no competition type health insurance out in trade with the Canadians or many Europeans that say what you hardcore lefties want is ignorant and extreme. While I'm wishing I'd prefer to use TT's trampoline method to solve this problem of our export delivery. I'd use jets for the imports of course. ^_^
We just do not have a clue and our ignorance is maddening. More and more I am reminded of John Carpenters, "In the Mouth of Madness" which is a book on my to-read list as well as a really great older movie.
I won't spoil anything more about that movie except to say the graphics at the end are older cuz obv it's an older movie but nonetheless it is a good movie worth watching.
What a nice little tangent I just went on hmmm

Once Upon a time by LemOn[5thF], May 02

I had a downswing
+ Show Spoiler +

So I started 9 tabling SH NL25 tight 17/15 ABC at NL25 because of the ridiculous VPP Promo at stars. I am selling my soul and practically exchanging rapid learning curve for the sick amount of VPP and for higher profits ( I find no difference between NL25 and NL5 when I table select)

Switched back to 4BB+X, and I have a lil' problem adjusting back to playing nitty, as I can't afford to bluff when I don't follow all the action and go mostly by stats again.
Made many degen bluffs that worked before, but they obviously did not work now as I didn't observe the tendencies of everyone, which is a complete must if you want to go past C/bet at NL25.

I also ran very bad and got my flush busted by FH, K flush by A flush and twice got rivered with some Q8 hands hitting 2 pair.

Than a sick 2 minute heater came and I hit like 4 sets and 2 flushes and got back to where I was when I finished with LAG lolz

P.S. One SICK SOULREAD
