clearly doing something wrongby CrownRoyal, September 17
I'm going to cry here, if you want to bitch about me crying get out.
I haven't had a winning session in over 2 weeks. Even fish win sometimes, what the fuck? I put in the longest session, try my absolute hardest and can look at my opponents play and see leaks in nearly all of them. I am not playing too many tables, I'm not doing nothing wrong in my opinion and I can't even beat nl50. It's so incomprehendably demoralizing and upsetting to me that I cannot win. I dunno what is going on, I know what winning play is and I still believe somewhere down there in my heart that I am on that echelon of play but really this is just getting out of hand.

Today I managed to take my dog for a walk instead of running. It just came to my mind how rigged cities actually are. I'm so glad I live in a village. I went out to a forest near my place, it drizzled and the forest was all covered in fog. Amazing. I found out I ignore too many things in life.
As I hinted in my previous post I started playing some at Noble Poker last week. I am however disapointed at the software so I havnt payed too much attention on the players. Obviously that cant go very well Recently I have played pretty bad at Full Tilt too so I am down a fair bit this month.
On the positive side is that I am now in Prague to play Unibet Open. Except that pinball and I cant connect both our laptops at the same time (due to that you must have a 1 meter cable plugged in to get internet) it is a nice hotel with good food and good service. I will be playing day 1b tomorrow and my first goal will be to come through that alive! Will update and stuff how it goes..
So I accidently fucking deleted my blog post that I had started to write.
So anyways, I played poker about full time for 6 weeks this summer on a stake. End of July I cashed out and traveled to the US (chicago) for 4 days to do some fall shopping. So I bought a ton of clothes for my new job etc.
Anyways when I got home it was time for the yearly golf tournament that I've blogged about before. About 160 guys get invited every summer to play golf (about 60 play). So its all about having fun, and drinking. We start at 6 AM, and end at 3-4 AM. So almost 24 hours of drinking.
Anyways I'm working at an IT company called IBS, and found an apartment in Stockholm. I'm paying 8k (SEK) for it though, so its kind of expensive. Im thinking about starting to train MMA, I did Krav Maga when I was in the army.
Anyways I'm back playing mtts again on a stake, so please let me & my stakers run good!!!!!!
****BTW anyone want to stake me for WCOOP #43 215 NLH - PM and we'll work something out****
Back to training-feeling solid.by SfydjkLm, September 17
Sitting here sipping meself some Bud Light lime. No matter how queer the drink might be it is ridiculously awesome. Not to mention they made the best online commercials for it i ever saw- they were mute and short. I appreciate that, and that really made em stand out as well.
I'm back on a 5 day training regimen. I want to try to make it 7 day in fact- with 2 extra days of heavy bag work. After all that is my favorite part of training. Feeling really solid, not poker wise, just solid. My body. It feels like a proper machine. Not the wobbly feeling of an unoiled rig, when manipulating your body is like- for the lack of better metaphors- playing a really laggy game.
Let's hope this is an upswing. Life and poker alike. Now i just need to get laid.
Overall.. I've been playing really bad though. Really really not focusing, so I'm going to take a little break and come back with my mind ready to play. Maybe play some SC which I haven't done in forever. I know to many people it's laughable that I'm at NL2.. but I'll get there eventually . Really, my post flop play has been pretty bad and I'm just not able to focus. I need to find a quiet place to play as my house is always noisy and I'm using a computer in the living room.
Anyways, recently I wrote something about poker and how I felt about it in my class. Maybe I'll write it up and post it in my blog eventually, but it's kind of embarrassing since I only play NL2 . We'll see.
Change of games....end of summer!by MasterofLaw, September 17
So in my last post I discussed whether I should change from online to live poker...
Actually I took a paus and went on a nice and unhealthy vacation. The vacation in the end (mixed up with a lot of fun) only brought problems. Have been screwing around with too many girls at the same time and in the end kinda lost the control over the whole situation ending up with me having a girl(1) (living 300kilometres from Stockholm)living at my place just to duck another girl(2) and have something to blame on to easier break up with the latter one...Have been a lot of fun, have travelled alot within sweden (think I drove my car about 250kilometres in total) visit great hotels with nice women and so. But lesson learnt, never be dishonest to women (and if you are for godsake master the art of bluffing first)
Last week however, I decided that the uncontrolled rollercoaster (a.k.a my life) needed to be taken control over by myself once again. I kindly asked the girl(1) living with me to go home, called a third girl(3) (not mentioned earlier in the post)that I have been dishonest and not want a relationship with her but we can still do the honkytonky on weekends. The second girl was at first kinda pissed because when I was on vacation I told her that I missed her and longed for her, just to get the phoned hi-jacked by girl(1) who kindly told girl(2) that she actually was my gf and that I have been doing her for two weeks...But I have climbed my way back to girl(2)to the honkytonky on weekends-stage..once in the circle of trust you can always get 'em back..However I have no serious intentions with her but she has kinda accepted it =)
At this stage I feel that I once again have gained control over my life, no known babies made, no known STD:s recieved, just great summer memories created and saved...Now I'm back at the lawfirm again grinding work...Have a new prospect (girl 4) and this time it feels pretty good. However, I decided to start taking poker more serious and switch to live-games solely. Have had 3 sessions at the local casino and over 11hours I have made a profit of 11.5k SEK (blinds 20/20). Feel I have a huge edge over the addicts, fishes and retards playing there. Think I'm a good live-player...So I will try to build a live-roll instead of online and only time can tell if I get back to play online again...
Also Dusty, Remember87 and Pinball....wish you all luck in Unibet open starting today(?)!

Today was a really good day. I met people from McKinsey, and they were really cool. I think I might want to work there eventually. Anyways, I ran really well today and am still trying to fix a few leaks and bluff a bit more and follow my instincts.

Important FTP info RB, Bonuses, Fees, etc.by thumbz555, September 16
Was curious why my MGR on PT3 was different from that on my RB site... Here's why:
Quoted:
Full Tilt will also deducts a number of things:
1) Deposit fees: 3-10% of each deposit will be deducted from a players poker revenue, which will decrease their expected rakeback.
2) 100% of bonuses are deducted from a players poker revenue.
3) Players are deducted $5 for every 1,000 points spent in the FTP Store.
4) Players are equally deducted if they play in a tournament that has an overlay. For example, if there is a $10,000 Guaranteed tournament that does not receive enough entrants so that the prizepool exclipses $10,000, the money Full Tilt has to kick in to meet the guarantee will be equally deducted from all of the participating players.
5) There is a fee that is deducted for cashouts, although Full Tilt does not disclose the exact amount.
