So I heard a bunch of really good reviews regarding this book, and now have a copy of it myself.

I´m really excited about it, and will be reading it the next couple of weeks. I think this book is aimed mainly at SSNL and MSNL players. Once I´m finished will give everybody a review on my blog.

Now that I am playing poker again, Ive found all my all poker friends at much different stakes. I'm looking for some people who want to send hands to eachother and talk strategy.

I'm also going to start learning PLO. Seems like a really fun and great game that many of my NLHE will transfer over to. I'm going to start low, 25PLO, until I get better. I already know a lot about the starting hands and how 9987 is worse than 9877 for example.

Anyway, hit me up in the comments or in a PM if you play NL50-100 or PLO. I mostly use AIM but I can also get on MSN if that is more convienient for anyone.

So I was talking with joLin the other day about HEM. You know how it marks your winning sessions as green and your losing sessions as red? If it didn't do that, I would feel so much more neutral on how my poker sessions have been going. There's something exhilarating about that green color that signifies a winning session. Likewise, it feels pretty crappy when you see the red on a losing session. But I think the joy I get out of seeing green is more +EV (+EJOY?) than red is -EV (-EJOY lol).

-Will sometimes wake up in the morning and go STRAIGHT to playing poker (before eating breakfast/shower/brushing teeth)

On a side note, almost every single person (like 14/15) who has sat vs me heads up since August has left a much richer man. I'm talking about people who have never played poker before who are sitting down to give this poker thing a shot walk away feeling like champions.

October was really good. Played about 47k hands of 100nl. Only had one 15bi swing in the middle of the month and the rest was smooth sailing. I also bought the 800$ milestone bonus and won a couple of 5400fpp satellites wich resulted in almost 8000$ for the month.

November has been a pain in the back. played about 35k hands so far and a bunch of 10bi swings. I will be buying the 200k vpp milestone bonus this month, and hopefully be able to move to 200nl by december.

I like poker, I like money, I like crushing ppls souls, I like soulreading, I like games, I like using peoples minds against them,

I like deepstacked tournies, I like guaranteed tournies, fuck it, I like all tournies w/ fields under $162 competition.

I like to idealize my first huge MTT win over and over in my head. I like to think about what lifes going to be like in the future.

I like to think of things from every possible perspetive I can see possible. I like to play long hours when I'm breaking even or losing.

I like to quit my sessions to early when I'm crushing, feeling bored that its going to easy that day I assume this is from, I like to fix my flaws, I like to fuck with people, I like to smoke mad herb.

I like 3betting random garbage deepstacked as hell and shitting on people when they overcall with AQo OOP, and setting up sick metagame for later.
I like metagame and that I'm good at it to an extent but know that theres many that completely shit on my metagame by like sick levels.

I like motivation. I like basketball. I like movies. I like AA. I like giving coolers. I like laughing at sick coolers. I like playing.

I like stupid fish. I like to go to the park. I like to play vs anyone thats not a NL200+ Stars reg.

I like tournament money, I like to blow tons of money on drugs from tournaments, I like to blow money on single moms in Vegas, I like to check raise sets, I like to checkraise gutshots from BS raisers in LP from the blinds, I like Pokerz and the Pokerz likez me, for one reason or another, im gonna make like 2 mil, you'll see.

I just run really really good, like insanely good, better than all of you can ever dream, its good to be me, freerolling life 4tw. You can come visit and see how sick it is, if I know you. Btw I've been running really good all year which is why i have won 50k this year opposed to previous years where i never won anything. This all has nothing to do with my Las Vegas trip, my great teachers and re-learning of the game like many overlook. No, no, no. This is all just dumb luck, just wait and see kids, sure enough NeillyAA is hanging onto some sacred luckbox that nobody can ever touch or destroy because its guarded by Liquid Pokerz Cosmic Rays of Fury. Fuck with that kids, Fuck with that.

All of my bitching and moaning the last few days has given me an opportunity to review SlowHabit's new book for free. I'll be taking some time off the tables the next few days so this will give me some time to read through it and hopefully learn a lot. As far as poker goes I've been going out of my mind recently. Sessions have been ridiculously swingy with me starting off going negative immediately, grinding back, and then slamming back down. I've just been grinding it out and sticking to it. I probably would have given up had I not recently bought a 24" monitor but it's kept me motivated to grind and I'm on pace to play the most hands I've ever played in one month + I was on vacation for a week away from everything and I work full-time. I probably bitch and moan as much as everyone on here, and maybe even more, but I'm also the kind to celebrate when something goes good too.

This hand gave me so much joy preflop, crushed my heart on the turn, and gave me life on the river. I'm not close to going busto but I am close to going insane. So here it is:

...and feeling bad about it.

yesterday i was sitting here with a mate drinking beer and ranting about various poker stuff while browsing the lobby for cool games to spectate.after 1 hour and a few beers later i randomly click on a 1/2 table and a guy with a 900$ stack gets my attention immediately and im like "look at this lucky fag , sitting with almost 1000$ there!". my mate looks at the name and says "haha i know this guy. i was sitting on a micro 180 FT with him. he was shit talking to ppl all the time". we open up ptr.com and look him up. turns out hes -2000$ on 1/2 over 500 hands or so. we also find out that i donked off around 500$ over the past 2 years with my small deposits. we have a good laugh about my huge fail and then come back to the 1/2 table. my mate a bit drunk already proposes like a true degen "lets get this guys money!". naturally at first i say no but eventually he convices me to buy in for the minimum of 40$ (remember thats still 4 buyins at my regular limit) with the deal that if we lose it he will pay the alcohol next weekend.
long story short - after 30minutes of 1/2 gambling im sitting there with 308$ when i call it a day after losing our first bigger pot. we couldve won more of that guy probably but we played so scared money. we checked KK 2 times on a 25T9J board cause villain played his AT so aggresive and we didnt get it in with JJ on a AJ8 flop cause we were afraid of aces hahahaha.
so now im sitting here with a 500+$ roll ready to play nl25 just after 2 weeks of starting at nl2 with 50$ and im kinda feeling bad about it!

I didn't play in Oct, so November was my month to get back into it. Luckily for me, November is "Run 11bb/100 Under EV Month" at FTP, so it's been really exciting.

Just had a 7bi session at nl25 on stars today and also finally unlocked my reload bonus after 5k vips, bringing my roll to over 1k. Asking edzwoo to help me transfer my roll from stars to ftp, I deposited $100 back in the day so no bonus for me :-(. Hopefully I'll be taking my first shot of nl50 tomorrow. Thought it was time to start a blog. Been at nl25 for the past month with a lot of breakeven sessions. Almost took a break, but it looks like this was the session I needed to keep playing. Pretty excited about moving up.
