I just can't believe this, wtf.
I got this game about 5 years ago for free with my PC magazine in Czech Republic that sold for $8 back in the day.
I never finished it because there was a bug probably that didn't allow me to solve one riddle.Now I am like wtf I have nothing to play and the new games largely suck, so I go online to buy it.
I had to pay $35 incl. postage, its a 'rare game' now.


Well I got it now and I have goose bumps from just watching the Intro.
I love the depressing story, morbid world, shit ton of talking, RPG stats, items, the fact that you can change your body parts and the funny dialogues between the main characters.


Lets dig deep to the times where graphics meant squat, and precise 2D animation, and most of all really awesome complex story with continuous character development were decisive for a success of a game.

I know what the red line is, but the recent talks about and graphs I have seen makes me think... Do I have a minor leak in my game, well there are many leaks thats for sure, but specifically related to this, over the long run going lower and lower.

Here is what I think I do ok:
CBET
2nd and maybe 3 barrel... not as often 3rd barrel in 50nl
I dont call 3bets with sooooted cards.
4 bet bluff--rarely only with reads against > 10% 3bet people.

Anyways some input would be nice

I know I shouldn't be results oriented but I'm not at the point where I can take downswings without questioning whether or not I'm just a bad player. This was me taking my second shot at NL100 followed by a bad session at NL50. Hope tomorrow will be better.

up until recently I've been confident that I can beat 100nl, but it just seems that I'm facing 3bets, 4bets, flop or turn raises, flop or turn check/raises, floats all day long, especially when I have marginal holdings.

I really don't know what's going on it just seems that there's tons of monkeys. People say that there isn't much difference between 50nl and 100nl but it seems to me that the aggression is stepped up tenfold at 100nl.

I've played a ton at 100nl in the past and I used to counter this by being a FPS spew tard myself, which caused me to break even for long periods of time, but am I just running into tons of hands?

Not really sure what to think, when I watch videos and sweat people I don't really see this happening to them but a lot of the time when I play the same games I just get shit on constantly.

That being said I've only returned to 100nl for a few days now, maybe it's just variance and I should grind through it? It's really making me feel my skills are inadequate though, especially post flop.

Some people have suggested coaching and it might be a good idea, idk. Thoughts and suggestions LP?

So I decided to give Cake poker a try. I signed up for rakeback. Made a new account and enterred my screenname on the liquid rakeback website. They give me a referral link and a bonus code. Apparantly the refferal link is just Cake's homepage and I dont really see where I can enter the bonus code?

Well I've sent money to durrrr and viffer to contribute for their initiative of buying gifts for poor kids in vegas.

So I figured It'd be a good idea to actually copy them and do the same here in Quebec, I've got a few friends willing to come along with me, I'll put a few Ks myself, We're going to go to Wal-Mart or whatever to buy toys and food to donate to people in need for christmas.

I'll take any donation from 5 to 5000 bucks.

Finals next week... shouldn't really be blogging but I have a lot of questions and I kinda wanna just write a little.

Pharmacy school is tough shit. It's something I really want to do but I barely get to do anything besides studying ever since junior year. I wonder a lot about how college would have been if I had applied to a state school. Can't wait for winter vacation to start so I can really work to improve my game and relax.

Sooooo I've been playing poker for about a year now. Even though I just grind microstakes, I realize that I would have made a LOT of money from rakeback if I had it.

So my question is... how do I get rakeback on Full Tilt if I already have a FTP account? Can I just create a new account on a new e-mail and put in the LP code and start playing? I've never withdrawn money from my FTP account before since I just exchange cash for my FTP money with my friends. Would this allow me to just make a new account for rakeback?

Forgot to make a blog about my halloween pics, here they are below. My November was bad, i was down 1.4k at 200nl over 40k hands and I didn't have negative months in a very long time. Oh well, well see how many hands I will play in December. Also on xbox360, i finished dead space which was an awesome game and wanted to play call of duty 2: modern warefare, but I cant get any of the cracked versions to work

just hit SN on stars. (grinding out nl25... imagine that...)

still going to grind out nl25 till I hit my 20 BI goal for it before moving up to nl50 again... So far I've been playing well, then playing poor, then playing well again. The redline is mostly fixed. I will post a complete nl25 graph when I'm done with my 20 BIs. Right now, it's not looking too great...

[edit] moving to FTP for now. gotta grind out another bonus.

So here's my graph over past 100k hands. This is mostly 8-tabling NL200. Not pictured is about 5k hands at NL400 and NL600 for about 2k as well as the fact that I am 25BI under EV on FTP while exactly on EV on Stars (rigged?). You can see the evidence of FTP fun in the recurring 2k-3k downswings. Some extra cash from live play and rakeback make the past 100k hands rather nice. Goal for December is to play at least 4 hours on the days that I do play. My winrate has been a steady 3BB-6BB/100 on month to month basis so, in theory, playing more hands should yield more profits, but you never know.

One way I have found for putting in more hands is playing live. For some reason, my subconscious puts live play and online play into 2 different categories, so when I am done with live play for the day and feel that I really don't want to play any more, I can go to the local casino and have a fresh start. Live play itself is also far less tiring than online. As such, I have found it a nice way to increase my monthly winnings without wearing myself out.

goal was 5k but i felt i played so fking bad and there is just so many regulars on 100nl on Bossmedia network, and they are pretty good (imo..)

i dont wanna play FR but almost all my winnings from this graph is of FR and im a loser at SH.

But i wanna play SH so ive decided to switch to stars.

I did pretty good the last week or so at november playing on stars and december have started off really good.

I wanna get better at poker, not just grind rakeback. the last 6 month or so im like a 2bb/100 winner at the micro/smallstakes on bossmedia with almost only rakeback profits...

old idea was just to mass volume for $$ profit. but i wanna get better, and i hate boss media client its so fucking tilting so im gonna try stars out for a bit, dont wanna play with same fucking players everyday in and out, i want new faces, new image. new start

I know, this $EV stats is really retarded, it seems buggy because i'm pretty sure i shouldn't be that low. I guess it's because it can't handle multiway allin pots which i've been doing pretty often the last few hands ? Dunno really, but i DO know i'm much more positive.
Dunno what really changed in my game... Just read the baluga whale book a friend gave it to me, maybe that's how it changed my betting pattern on some situations ? I'm not following his advices thoroughly because there were some parts which made me confused. Most of them did make sense though and so i applied it. Not everything thouh, because on their book their lowest limits for their standard was nl25... They were talking about image and such, which i believe wouldn't really work on nl5 so i kept it for later.

Now December is going pretty good too. Just got a heater i guess (some monkey spewiness tilt + good odds > big hands)

I WAS SO SICK OF POKER.

I WAS ALSO SICK OF AMERICAN DOLLAR!

So I decided to withdraw my remaining shamefully small amount of money I had left on PS and deposited to ONGAME(Opoker skin) Which operates in Euros. This made my babalnce look even smaller . Which was super depressing.


ANyhow Ive played shit all this month. Mostly NL25. But i banked pretty good lol.
This brings me back to my theory: Less hands = More profit. At least for me it has been this way.

So anyway Im gonna play some next month. Hoping to move up n bank more money. Cos im broke. ANd need a job. I cant afford shit. GOnna become a bum soon.

BTW i Have a question!
I used to upload all my pics to google pages. Which was sweet. But now they closed the website and replaced it with google sites. Which is gay!!! It lets me upload photos, but when i embed the image into my blog, it doesnt show the picture! This can be seen on last blog entry. FFS!

So what im asking is, what is a good host for me to host all my pictures? Like graphs and girls that i post? I was thinking LP, but i want something thats like not only poker related.

Before beginning I will say that I have decided to do a series of these blogs on a variety of topics that interest me. Such as religion, philosophy, psychology, physics etc. Obviously there may not be widespread appeal but I think some people will find my posts helpful. I definitely would have 2 years ago. So without further ado.

I have made the decision to eliminate all negativity from my life in 2010. This is my new years resolution. However I am not waiting until new years I will begin now. Time is merely an illusion anyways and there is only the moment of now.


Why do I say "Thelemic" purge. Well Thelema is a religion developed by the legendary occultist Aleister Crowley. He is probably best known for the song by Ozzy titled 'Mr Crowley". And for being on the cover of the Beatles Sgt Pepper album. There are many legends surrounding his life. Most of which that he founded satanism and was an extremely evil man who sacrificed children and animals and had massive orgies. Obviously he didnt found satanism that was Anton Lavey (and he doesnt even believe in Satan). And if he had sacrificed children he would have went to jail. The children sacrificing rumor arose from his writings but what he was actually talking about was a sex magic ritual involving his semen.. hence dead children. At the time he wouldnt have been able to get published if he had said anything about sex or masturbation. But the press had no problems with him writing about killing children haha. Some occultists do sacrifice animals and guess what they eat them afterwards. In fact this is exactly what the Indians used to do with Buffalo. They would use every piece of the buffalo in their lives. This is no different than a Christian praying for his food. Just instead of thanking God they are thanking the animal for giving his life so that they could live. The reports of the orgies are likely accurate however.

Dont want to talk to much about Crowley but I will say that basically he was a ceremonial magician. He was initiated into the order of the golden dawn and was later kicked out for causing dissension among the ranks and trying to rise to the top and take it over and get all the hidden knowledge that they had. Shortly after he was expelled from the order he went out on his own and created his own order the AA and later became the leader of the OTO. After marrying his first wife they went to Egypt and slept in the Great Pyramid. Later they were in a museum in Cairo in front of a statue that happened to be exhibit 666 and she had a religious experience. In the hotel room she was supposedly taken over by a higher human intelligence and dictated to Crowley the book of the Law. The book became the basis of Crowleys new religion Thelema as well as the focus of the remainder of his life. The general idea of the creed is "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. Love is the Law, Love under Will". Now by this he doesnt mean do anything you want. He means that you should follow your true will and be true to yourself and not to social conventions. Crowley is a very interesting character who got a kick out of bad press and misconceptions. He felt it was better to be infamous than not famous. There are even rumors that he was a spy for the British government during WW1. Someone wrote a book about this and its pretty interesting.

The word Thelema actually means "WILL". Crowley throughout his life would do things to train his Will. He believed his will to be supreme. He would constantly take heroin and then quit cold turkey as an act of will. Another thing he did was to pick a word say "I" and not use it for weeks at a time. If he would mess up and talk about himself in the first person he would cut himself with a razor blade he kept in his pockets. This was in an effort to train his mind to always stay mindful.

Obviously I dont plan on cutting myself. I think what I will be doing is pinching myself if I catch myself say anything negative. I will use absolutely no curse words. Not say a bad word about anyone. And say nothing negative at all. This is what I will be undertaking during the next year and beginning now. This will help me stay positive and happy all day long and improve every aspect of my life.

And no im not an occultist, just very interested in all forms of religion and philosophy.

Love is the Law, Love under Will!
