After this month, I had enough to move up to 100NL, but decided to withdraw all but 25 buyins for 50NL. Wanted to make sure I am comfortable on live cash until January. Once January rolls around, I will recieve scholarship money, and should not have to take out any poker money for at least 6 months.
My goals for December, aside from acing my semester finals, will be to play ~60k hands and move up to 100NL. I also think I will be purchasing Slowhabit's NL Workbook once finals are over and plan on carefully studying that throughout winter break. Also, I would like to get ironman on ftp in dec, and prob throw some $ back on stars to maintain silverstar. Goals for 2k10 will include supernova and maintaining ironman monthly on ftp.

So about why I think I have an edge... I've been applying a lot of random theoretical concepts I thought about about a week before starting NL200, and I've also been scavenging the PTR database for hand histories on the winning regs.
From what I saw, I'm basically under the impression that the best players suck and are winners because of good table selection, lol . I could be wrong but that's what it seems like. The difference between the hardcore grinders that are 2ptbb and .5 ptbb are who they play against.
Some other things that struck me was watching durrrr vs isildur HU and some random PAD and HSP episodes. There were a lot of moments where I kinda realized many spots postflop are actually just bluffcatchers or are too weak to be raised. I also had to honestly look back at my old game and plug a LOT of leaks.
Anyway, I scored a solid 1322 vpp today. I only need 28,893 for SuperNova! Hopefully I make a ton on the way
I've noticed I've always written kinda, smallish goals, and I don't feel excited, and like "wow, can I really make this". And I go bored and just don't care "goals wern't great anyway" I'm kinda telling myself without really telling myself.
So for december I'm gonna turn it up a notch, even though I didn't make my November goals!!

Weird, I notice I dodge things when I don't do well at them, or don't meet an expectation I set for myself. Annoying, keep thinking "wish I never stopped the blog" and I don't go at it again, because "it's no fun when I have a long stretch I stopped".
I'll try harder not to stop this time around, roarr.
I remember setting some goals in a thread for November, tried finding the thread again now, but I can't seem to find it. But I vaguely remember the goals (that can't be good, means I lost focus of my goals weeks ago)
Think they were pretty "passive" and not that insane, slow start to poker again? Or something like that. Think they were something like this:
- 40 hours of poker at the table
- 6 poker training vods
- read 3-4 books
- train 4 times a week
Hrmpfh, checked my tracker now, I played 37 hours, close but not good enough. Hate playing these microstakes (I know bad excuse). But if I was better I'd be higher, so nothing to blame but myself <3
Ended up 24$ total in 6max and 54$ up in Heads up. Nothing to brag about, but at least I'm in the plus, I think I'll get 260$ or so back in rakeback, so that's around 330$ for the month. Averaging of 8$ an hour, hrmpfh.
On the bright side, I watched maybe 11 poker vods, so that's good atleast, now on part 7 of some HU series on deuces with prinnyraiding in it. Hope I remember all the stuff I see there.
On the book parts, I read atleast one full, and several small thingys, not sure if the small ones count. So not a total success there, and I'm in the middle of another book, so that's semi okay xD
I trained 4 times a week first 2,5 weeks, got huge stomach problems again, due to my sugar thingy, and not trained in 8 days, I'm gonna go train today again though.
So overall, on a scale from 1-10 in completing goals, I'd have to give myself a 5 or something!!
Today was supposed to be a day of re-confidence building and BR rebuilding.
but 13k Hands later, and I'm only up 30 bucks on nl25. I definitely think there are some leaks in my game that I've forgotten about in my 1 month break. I also need to shore up some EV problems... <_<
overall, I need to rethink my game, as it's clear to me that I've def. forgot a lot about how to play poker.

Well I'm not quite updating yet, it hasn't been going really well since last blogpost, I've failed to live up to my goal, been really stressed out due to renovation and problem with girl who I then decided to dump. So "Sennpu" from LP is renting a room in my house, this way I'm not alone xD
Everything is done except the bathroom, which shud be done by next week, then I shud be able to take a bunch of pictures, It's really pretty freaking cool here actually :D
As far as poker goes I pretty much tilted a shitload, way more than usual, and played less hands than I was supposed to, which resulted in July-> +80k August -> +10k September -> +10k October -> +30k and finally November is decent with -> +93k
Still 250k to go till 1m so I'm most likely going to fail, needless to say this is kind of disappointing but I'll make up for it next year hopefully.
Meeting girls is also going to be part of the plan lolol ~_~

The Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), a bill that will impose a tax on the Australian people for their carbon emissions will be blocked in the coming days.
The leader of the opposition was toppled today for his support of the ETS by Tony Abbott, the man to lead the climate sceptics in a revolt against this great green tax.
The opposition will now block the bill in the senate, which will cause a deadlock of the houses. This gives the government the unusual and rare constitutional opportunity to trigger a double dissolution election. It is yet to be determined if they will call for a double dissolution.
