I just can't believe this, wtf.
I got this game about 5 years ago for free with my PC magazine in Czech Republic that sold for $8 back in the day.
I never finished it because there was a bug probably that didn't allow me to solve one riddle. Now I am like wtf I have nothing to play and the new games largely suck, so I go online to buy it.
I had to pay $35 incl. postage, its a 'rare game' now.

Well I got it now and I have goose bumps from just watching the Intro.
I love the depressing story, morbid world, shit ton of talking, RPG stats, items, the fact that you can change your body parts and the funny dialogues between the main characters.

Lets dig deep to the times where graphics meant squat, and precise 2D animation, and most of all really awesome complex story with continuous character development were decisive for a success of a game.

Looks really good, I found an old game as well about two weeks ago. It's called Europa Universalis and I play with the agceep mod. You chose a nation that existed in the early 15th century, you can for example play as the Incas, aztecs, castile (spain), china pretty much every relatively civilized country. If you know a couple things about history you can use them to become a greater nation, you can change history and do fucked up things like colonize america with russia, it's harder to do than with spain, portugal or england of course. Your state religion plays in when u conquer countries with other religious views, and you can't wage war too aggressively cuz then there will be civil wars and then other countries will attack you cuz ur weak.

I've played about 30h so far and I've only played 'till 1640, it seems to be a pretty well balanced game but it can get abit boring if you play as spain since if you rush, you can colonize most of north and central america and at the same time slaughter the incas. What's cool about this game is that you can't conquer the world, you instead try and focus on becoming as great of nation as possible, that and screwing up history. Wow.. did not intend to write so much.

It's a really time consuming game, but it has so many hours of play. Most games I grow tired of in 1-5h, I'll prolly play this 100-200h+. Takes awhile to get in to, but totally worth it imo.

Ahh i love playing old games, only because my computer handle newer ones.

Baldurs Gate 2 is probably my favourite (with ToB expansion), i fucking love it, so much to do, side-quests, different main quests, plenty of replay.

Day of the Tentacle as already mentions was probably the first game I ever played, I only completed it last week. its actually quite hard.

Constructor I also used to play (will need doxbox to play it now though)

Another huge favourite is Gangsters: Organized Crime. Its strategy, recruit some hoods, exort, buy businesses, intimidate people, ambush, bomb, run for mayor, set up illegal businesses as well as legit ones etc.

Is there a bonus code you need to enter to get the super account? I still cant see others cards.

this game is so fucking amazing
I remember reading somewhere that it had the most dialogue ever written for a game and in contrast to Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 you can solve many quests just by being smart with what you say...
It didn't sell well because it came out at the same time with BG2 I think, but it is way better imo and I have finished both games.
The story line is brilliant

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

Also, you can complete the game with like 5 fights in total, rest dialogue

This game is awesome. If you want something newer but with some good ol' RPG feel, I would recommend Neverwinter Nights (NWN 2 especially, in fact it has a lot more feel to it if you don't play the first part...puzzling the story together with feels pretty real then if you don't know what happened "before your time".

I'm not sure, but I think that's developed by Black Isle too. Awesome regardless

My favourite line is Bet/Fold. I bet, you fold.
