yay finished 2nd out of i think 60-70 in a pokertube.com tourney sadly dabeear wasn't there
SOO tilting my internet started fucking up of course when 3 players are left luckily I got it to start for 5 minutes again double up with TT vs A4 flop a full house.
my internet starts fucking up again (no lie don't get talktalk if in UK) anyway I'm happy with 2nd since its only my 2nd pokertube tourney
I have been inactive for the last 3-4 months due to complete destruction of my roll, followed by a failed stake attempt, which I didn't even start paying back yet... will soon though, sry Robinson.
I have a full time job now, and i'm going to start school in september in order to become a programmer and make better Blizzard games.
Poker was good for me, as I lived off it for a year and a half, but now I simply had to stop completely, and I wouldn't be able to restart full time, so I might just keep playing at a very small volume/stake level, but will most likely never become serious about it again, which sux after all the training hours i've been through.
Here are some graphs and some tournaments ive played, including my 11$ MTT turbo win of January 11th.
could anyone give me links to websites that have poker strategy videos for SNG MTT? I looked a bit on pokertube.com but the quality seems low unless i didn't look at the right videos, preferably i need some websites that host them free or that we have a trial for a few days or a few videos.
Hi guys, I have had a lot of people asking me if I am playing this years 25k 6max event. I think I will end up playing it but will sell action. I will sell 50% of my action at 1.1-1 let me know if you are interested.
Hi guys, I have had a lot of people asking me if I am playing this years 25k 6max event. I think I will end up playing it but will sell action. I will sell 50% of my action at 1.1-1 let me know if you are interested.
So poker has been going great, but I've also been spending time on my new website. Jason and I started up an airsoft gun and equipment store not too long ago at www.airsoftgunsnow.com. It's been looking pretty promising, especially since Jason's really good at eBay stuff, and I've been doing tons of research on SEO.
So here's where you guys come in. The site that hosts our store is BigCommerce, and they recently sent out a contest for a $35,000 package here: http://www.bigcommerce.com/contest.php
Basically, you have to be a small business and make a one minute video of what you sell and why you like BigCommerce and what winning would do for you etc. Obv we insta-snapcalled and made a video.
Five (5) videos will be selected by judges to enter the final round. Judges will select five finalists based primarily on the following criteria: (1) creativity, (2) coherence of message, (3) potential for company growth, (4) inspiring story. Number of views for each video on YouTube will factor into the judges' decision; Contestants are encouraged to promote their video to increase views.
So basically, if you guys could visit our cheesy little youtube video a few times (it's way better than the others though) and up the view count we'd really appreciate it. Guidelines don't say anything about comments or ratings, but a positive comment couldn't hurt at all either . I'm not sure if you have to go to the actual link for the view to count. If you do go to the actual link, refresh a few times while you're at it
The youtube video link is here:
Feel free to lol at real life edzwoo desperately trying to sell his site. Thanks guys.
Pretty rough first day for me at NL25by Carthac, May 27
Pretty rough first day for me at NL25. Even with all the variance, I still felt I played pretty well. However, a few of the early beats made me tilt off a few hands I really should not have. I actually climbed back up to where I had started the day, before plummeting back down another 7BI lololol
Wish me luck tomorrow guys!

I've taken shit for posting about this show in the past and it was well deserved, cause during season 1 the show was cheesy as hell and the special effects/fights were all pretty crap. Even the beginning of season 2 was weak. So what show am I talking about? What show is now my favorite?
The 2nd half of season 2 has put this show into the "awesome" category. The special effects and fight scenes suddenly got good and the writing got fantastic. The stories were always interesting and entertaining, but more in a "Kevin Sorbo is Hercules" kinda way. I think someone else got involved in directing or editing or something, cause suddenly it's a whole new show. But it still has enough fun cheesy moments to satisfy.
Let's examine what this show is all about:
* Cheesy - Check
* Main character that looks like Link from Zelda - Check
* Female lead who's boobs hang out often - Check
* Ugly old dude that looks like really could be a wizard - Check
* Sword fighting - Check
* Using magic in the story to create unique story lines - Check
* Hot blond girl in red leather who dominates you with a pain inducing dildo - Check
Let's confirm with some photo evidence:
http://premium1.uploadit.org/IAElitesquad//seeker2.jpg "I'm the Seeker and I'm ready to kick some ass... hey, where's my boomerang? And why isn't Epona here, I need a ride to the castle to defeat Gannond... I mean Lord Raul!"

http://premium1.uploadit.org/IAElitesquad//bridget_regan_0004.jpg "Ahh, there we go, one of my better cleavage shots"
http://www.galacticawatercooler.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/zed.jpg "I'm an ugly old SOB but I can burn you with Wizards fire"
http://www.twotalkingmonkeys.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/legend-of-the-seeker-season-2-cara.jpg "Ready to be beaten... and love it?"
When they were first premiering the first season of this show they did a live interview with the actors who were filming in New Zealand on like channel 2... it was a horrible interview but I think that helped cause in my pitty for them I got curious about the show. Watched the first few episodes and was reminded of the old Hercules TV show with Kevin Sorbo. It was ok, not great, and I stopped watching.
Then I was watching TV late one night on Sci-Fi and they were doing a Seeker Marathon, but they were doing the episodes in some crazy random order. And the later episodes were pretty good and the story had gone in directions I hadn't predicted. I got curious again. So I went and found it on netflix and watched all of season 1. Totally loved it despite all the ways it's cheesy and stupid.
Now season 2 is coming to an end and the writing is kinda like LOST but things actually MAKE SENSE. It's so nice. Totally love this show right now.
(PS - Yes, I reposted a bunch of stuff from an old blog. I'm lazy)
Dealing with overly aggressive donks NL 25 rushby Carthac, May 26
Moved up to NL25 rush today. Finding something I did not see at NL10 rush; I am being raised at least one out of every 3 pots that sees the flop, whether I am out of position or in position.
I am still unsure of how to deal with these, as I do not have a lot of experience with the limit, nor a lot of HH on the players I am playing with. I literally am finding people raising me 4x'ing my bet on the flop, and clicking the fold to bet box if I go all in, even if they are basically priced in. However, I am running into the situation of cbetting dry boards with A-10+ hands in position, and am unsure of how to deal with reraises on relatively dry boards.
Should I be checking behind more on dry flops? Should I be flatting and seeing how they react on the turn? Should I fold and just allow them to bluff me and catch them when I do have a hand?
Would appreciate some help. Thanks!
P.S. Of course I understand this is definitely different in every situation. I was just wondering if there was a general strategy I should be following when dealing with these types of situations

FLOP floated flop because of his weak bet sizing,TURN turn bet is a bit more convincing but i think once i call this turn villain will fire river very few times, RIVER luck boxed a 7, but after seeing a triple barrel i think it's easy to put him on a K here or some super thin value from AA, QQ; is my raise too large here? theres 170 in pot and he needs to call about 130 to win 300 i think.

FLOP using the half pot bet on flop/turn coulda potentially been disasterous, flop isn't too drawy i don't think but turn card is kinda meh.TURN QJ, J8, 86 all got there but these are pretty unlikely. i think QQ JJ, AT all can potentially call another bet, what do you think of sizing?

FLOP kinda lost here on the flop, don't really like to c/call but considering it's a 4 way pot it's probably best to just check re-eval?TURN my bet size is so gay, i doubt that utg floated me, so i don't mind so much betting smaller/folding but it's almost asking to get bluffed off of =.= at the same token, if i led this small wiht a set or draw, it could be super s3xy to jam
I just busted out of a $5 tourney (I've been donking around in like 1 small tourney/day. I was 3 people from the money and I was clearly the best player at the table.
Well my point is that it feels really really shitty to bust out of a tournament around the bubble. IDK if I can play tournies
