The jolt of the plane's landing gear woke me up for my slumber and I swore under my breathe as i couldn't get any sleep during the 11 hour flight across the pacific ocean and was just tryin to catch some Zzz's during the last 2.5 hr transfer flight from Tokyo to Busan. After an excruciating 10 min of waiting for the slowass plane people to finally open the plane hatch My mom and I finally got off that plane. After getting our bags from the baggage claim We proceeded to catch a cab and make our way to Masan. It was nice being back in Korea and i enjoyed the familar yet new sights of the Masan streets and the mass of fobs running around with their little school uniforms and chatting into their high tech cell phones.

Meeting with some of the Fam was great and Sam Kim's happiness level increased. Now after a delicously cooked meal made with an aunties love nature called. So i quickly excused myself and headed over to the bathroom. It looked pretty standard except the toilet: any forienger would immediately note all the f'in buttons and gadgets surrounding this mysterious bowl of water. I cautiously sat on it and proceeded to drop the kids off at the pool oblivious to the knowledge of the disaster that awaited me. It was time to wipe down my bottom and to my surprise and delight the toilet paper was of high quality material and upon further inspection the toilet paper was even fused with moisturizing lotion! Oh the joy! I quickly ripped off a healthy chunk of this wonderful toilet paper and proceeded to do what people do to clean themselves. As i shifted my weight the toilet let out a loud creak and i felt the toilet shudder under my massive butt cheeks. Obviously wiping once wasn't enough. So i repeated the first cycle and when i shifted weight again i heard a loud crack. and felt myself slipping to the side. I let out a surprised "WTF" and inspected the toilet seat. To my dismay the toilet seat snapped at the hinges! For a toilet designed for 5 foot 100 pound koreans it just couldn't hold the beast of a man that was Sam Kim currently clocking in at 6'1 240 pounds. I let out a laugh and nervously attempted to put the toilet seat in its original condition. GG toilet Seat.

The 2nd wake up call that i really was in korea was made apparent the following morning. I wake up to the smell of delicously cooked korean food at 8 AM in the morning. So i get up and have my fill and proceed to take a shower. I didn't notice the previous night that the tub didn't have any curtains and was elevated about a yard above the bathroom floor.

oh well it's all good i love it here but i still gg'd the toilet seat and still remains gg'd to this day.

feels kinda wierd me sitting here grinding mid stakes poker while my cousin is across the room trading stocks, options, etc that are worth 10's of thousands.

goddamnit.

I've been asked by a few LP stars regs as to why I dropped back to 100nl.

2 reasons: 1.) I didnt do too well on 100nl yet again, and since I know I can beat 50nl, might as well come and pad my bankroll abit
2.) More interestingly, I want to find out what kind of a win rate I can sustain at 50nl while playing 7-9 tables of 6max. I want to win at around 7-8bb/100, which I think is plenty feasible given how soft the games are.

So, wish me luck.
Btw, feel free to leave guesses as to what winrate in terms of PTBB/100 after say, 100-200k hands.
As of right now, I'm at 7.52bb/100 after 9633 hands. If I factor out the first 2600 hands where I broke even from the cashout boomswitch, I'm luckboxing my way at 10.4bb/100

So last night a bunch of my friends were getting deep in the stars 320, so I took some time to rail the donkament. My buddy mike martin, martine23, actually ended up taking it down for 44k. Pretty sicko score, but thats secondary to what took place.

When the money bubble hit, i was railing apestyles, but noticed that randallin was still alive. So i double click his name and get to his table. Now I havent railed randal in a while in a tournament, so I didnt know that he changed his avatar. It used to be a picture of ActionJeff drunk, it was pretty funny. Now its just a logo for the red hot chili peppers. So I make a comment in the chat that I miss his old avatar. I didnt notice that Vanessa Rousso was also on the table. Ok, lets backtrack a tad.

Some of you might not have seen my cardplayer interview before the PCA final table, but in it I ramble on for a few minutes about farting and vanessa. She was on my table day 1 at pca and i accidentally limped under the gun because I was checking her out and thought I was the big blind. so, i was running very good (already rolled for 50NL) but then a day all my nightmares came true right now my BR is 640$ after being 1050$...18 buyins down suck , i wasnt tilted, i even took 3 days off whit no poker, but the tables still hate me.

Virtually NO big draws this session, and I'm starting to believe that I really need to improve that aspect of my game. I feel it's a major leak.

I'm pretty much comfortable with my game now and I think I've figured out what the hell I'm doing. School has still been ghey and will be ghey until April 19th. At that point I hope to move up to NL100 or maybe wait until May 1st.

Stats from the last week of play. Blah blah blah, I can hear it now. Plz feel free to tell me I'm a nit, but everyone sucks so bad that I'm not changing my game. 16/13 is pretty much my comfort zone and anything above that is really unnecessary unless you're playing tight players or you're really good postflop. I'm being positionally aware, going from 12.5/12.5 UTG to 22/19 OTB, so I'm happy.

WOW I LOVE POKER!

Hmm, on the plus side, I got in over 900 hands this morning, but on the minus side I'm down 3+ FUCKING BUYINS

Made a suspect play with JQ (was a tilt hand), and got drawn out on 3 ~$10 pots. Overall not so bad, but I couldn't stack a player if my fucking life depended on it.

Anyhow, I leave for Arizona in the morning (Spring Training bitch), and I'm still undecided on whether or not I'll be playing a session tomorrow morning. I guess we'll just see how fucked up I get at dinner tonight. Chances are I'll be too hungover/drunk to play in AZ at all. But that's okay; I've reached my goal of 10K hands logged already this month, and I'm (barely) in the green
