Today's summary:

Commentary:
Good session this morning.
The AQo hand I could have gotten away from. Should have raised like a man on the flop; my own fault.
I decided to give up on my plan from yesterday, and follow my gut as far as re-raising when I miss etc., and this time it worked out for me.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/159190 Not a fan of this play. There's really nothing that has me beat on the turn that's not calling this bet on the river I think. Pretty sure that if he held a queen, he would have called. Check/call would have been a better line.

Today's summary:

Commentary:
I tried to play a bit more conservatively this morning.
Most notably; if I raised pre-flop in position with 1 caller, and the flop came J27, and the caller frontbet it, I'd usually re-raise him a good 75% of the time I miss the flop.
I started this session saying to myself that for every situation I got in like the one above, I would fold. This is because I lost ~$18 yesterday by re-raising people in this spot only to have them flatcall/push.
Anyhow, I could definitely see the difference in my stats this morning - my TAF (Total Aggression Factor) was down 2+ points from my average. Another thing I notice is that I lost A LOT of small pots where I cbet after missing the flop, then just completely shut down. I guess the key is to find a happy-medium between throwing my manmeat around, and learning some meekness.
One thing I really don't want to do is start to question my play. I need to continue having confidence in my decision-making abilities. I think that by binding to this rule, I really hindered myself.

TWO STEPS FORWARD, ONE STEP BACK
Crappy session.
Lost a buyin AA vs. flopped straight. Tried to push a couple other hands that missed for close to another buyin.
Won a couple hands, failed to value bet a couple other hands. Just wasn't playing my best.

Today's summary:

Commentary:
Interesting session. 9-tabled again, and I played the most hands I've ever played in a monring session.
The AA vs. QT hand happened pretty early, and I actually didn't TILT from it (although I could feel it trying to get in).
Anyhow, couple tough laydowns, couple 2-barrel misreads, and my quads getting paid off
It's getting to be a ritual where my week starts rough, then continues well. This week start much less rough than last, though.

Pretty amazing session this morning.
I'm really enjoying 9-tabling as I'm getting ~200-250 more hands per session. Also, it's teaching me to tighten down, and I don't find myself getting bored/impatient waiting for good hands.

Hands of Note:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/156408 Kind of a strange hand. Whether or not I re-pop this pre-flop is player-dependent, and the guy had been pretty quiet up to this point. I hit TPTK on the flop with a lot of red cards. I was pretty certain he didn't have the flush, but I don't like betting into this flop because there's a lot of hands that would make a big move on me, and put me in an awkward spot out of position e.g. AhK KhQ QhJ ... Anyhow, once I flatcalled I gave up on the idea of building a big pot, and he seemed to like the idea of keeping it small. I thought the hand was interesting because it could have gone much, much worse for me from the get-go.

I tried 9 tables for the first time this morning, and it went well. I made zero stupid moves (ie. C/R'ing a limped pot with a gutshot; calling down with TPBK in a big pot, etc.). It taught me some patience, AND I played about 250 more hands than I normally would
My only major spew was the KK hands against the double-paired board. The turn was an easy fold

One win over $10 didn't help either.

So yeah dropping buyins left and right.
http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/7790/droppinic0.jpg
First of a few days ago on Sunday night i went to the casino and dropped 3 buyins in less than an hour, main hands were runner runner flush after getting KJ in vs my KK on a J high flop as well as my QQ losing to 10 10 all in pf and him making a straight.
Got pretty ridiculous but hey gtta take it like a man, so anyway i'm on a 10-11 buyin downswing which is pretty awesome hey guys? So its going to an even longer time to hit 100nl up
In more interesting news i've set up my recently purchased 4 foot fish tank, and brought some new fish so i'll post up some pictures as soon as i can find my god damn camera usb cable.....
