So I figured that I should analyze why I've lost 10 bi the last week or so. After checking out my big losers in PT I've figured out that about 3/4 or something are acceptable loses like coolers and a lot of missed draws but there's also quite a few overvalued top pairs, overpairs and such that I shouldn't lose that much with. That's probably a big leak that I should fix. I read a post called"Analysis of a downswing" by BalugaWhale on 2+2 and he stated that:

"As in any downswing, I got sucked out on for my stack more than a couple times. Sometimes, I got sucked out on more than once in a session. Now, I prided myself on keeping composure and not tilting. I never did things like pushing All-In preflop with garbage, or calling raises with trash hands.

I think this might be key to this downswing. Also, I might have to stop bluffing because people are calling me down with everything.

Also, does anyone else have any theories on what one might do wrong during downswings? Like common tendencies and such?

Lots of variance.

Need to find leaks in my game, im sure im playing too aggro in position, need to tighten up a bit on the button maybe. Also i dont give short stacks credit enough, when maybe i should give them a little credit.

Maybe ill get some coaching or something to try and plug the leaks, becuase im sure if i can plug a few leaks ill be tearing up nl25.

Maybe the leaks arnt so bad and its just a really bad run for me, virtually breakeven over like 18k hands is a lot for me. I did have some major coolers, i might start leaving tables when im at 2+buyins stack, i seem to get coolered for 200bb a lot and that eats a huge chunk of my profit. At least if i was only at 100bb then id only have 100 to lose, right?:/ I know its not the most profitable but it would lower my variance and thats a good thing imo.

Good news is i got silverstar today which is pretty nice, only been playing about 10 days on stars, where ive actually played poker for about 4-5 days tops. Been busy irl.

Just grinded 9 tables NL10 for about 2k hands and had a profit of 60 dollars. I love to play NL10 it is so ez. Weekends are so fun, the last few weekends when i played i had massive heaters 10+BI at least.

BR. $927. NL25 i will see you on monday when i get $1k.

Monthly goal to accumlate $1500+.
By the end of june i hope i will be playing NL50 with i say $3k.

Fuck this shit. It's always like this. I've got 3 alarm clocks and neither of them wakes me up. Instead I wake up exactly at the time when my train/plane is supposed to leave. I think it's already the 3rd time this year. Meh.. Ok time to get my lazy ass out of my bed, take a shower, eat sth and go to the railway station to catch the next train. I think it's going to be about 1pm. Sucks. Hopefully I won't have to pay any extra charges.

So today I went to play soccer and I could barely walk after it. I was very tired from it and as soon as I got home I started a poker session (not a good idea). I didnt play too many hands and just lost 1buyin. I made a lot of mistakes and lost a lot of small pots.

So I went to this concert of a band Ive been loving for years ( http://www.myspace.com/divisionminuscula ) and it totally rocked ;D I was almost deaf after I left the building ;D
My left elbow hurts as hell, so does my toes. All of that because of being at the slam the whole time. I took a couple of songs to recover my breath and energy and I was getting bored for not jumping or pushing people. I don't know how some guys were just standing there doing nothing but listening to the music. Thats fucking boring. I'm gonna have trouble when sleeping, thats for sure.

So yesterday I had some beers and a bottle of whisky with my friend. I was pretty pissed, had a kebab when I was coming back and when I tried to fall asleep it was impossible since I felt like I had a helicopter in my head. Finally I managed to about 5:30am. My friend called about 10am and when I was talking to him it seemed like he was still drunk. After that I fell asleep again and woke up like 4:30pm. I ate my breakfast at 6pm and went to railway station to buy the ticket.

Tommorow I'm going to Wick (north part of Scotland - pretty much the end of the world) to see my father. I need to fkin change like 3 times and it's take 13-14hrs so it's gonna be a really fucked up day. I'm gonna be there on Monday and Tuesday and on Wednesday I'll stop in Edinburgh for one day. A few friends of mine (back from my high school in Poland) live there so I'll stay for a night and get drunk as hell and get back to Manchester the next day. So this week should be pretty fun. And next Sunday my best friend from Poland is visitting me here. He's gonna stay for a week and we'll get back to Poland together. I've known him since his birth (he's one year younger than me) and we always have sooo much fun together and he's a hilarious guy so I can't wait to see him again.

Because of that I won't be playing much poker for the next two weeks but I'll make up for it when I come back to Poland. This summer should be sweet. Playing poker, partying etc for the whole time. Can't wait to see my family and friends again.

Ok time to go to bed, I need to get up in 4hrs.

So I still win a few buyins just to lose a few more the next hour all the time. Tried to make a movie but I missed a multidraw and then managed to split a pot with JT vs J9 on a 789 flop allin after which I decided that it was appropriate to use foul language and I pretty much figured out that I couldn't post that. So yea, I've figured out that I'm a whiney bitch who can't handle cold runs very well so I'll just try to dunno, take it in stride and not whine that much. It happends and I should probably learn to deal with it if I'm ever going to be a good poker player.

Hey

Havent played a whole lot this last week but after my shitty start to May I have been slowly turning things around. I have also started to take on some low limit students to help bring their game along. I know I had a couple positive influences that really helped me when I was down below 100nl and Id like to return the favour. I also think I have a lot to offer to the student and I beleive that I will learn a thing or too as well when I am teaching. Anyways here is last weeks graph.

Came second but i had a 2:1 chiplead hus, i fucking suck so bad. Got outluck 2times but i deserve to lose cuz i was being so stupid. Fucking sake lost 20BI in a matter of minutes, o well I be playing some more MTT as it is easier to win better than to grind NL10 and make 1dollar/100.

...in the game of life

Next week I'm filing for bankruptcy as a result of getting scammed in a real estate deal. This guy I trusted came up with a bunch of false documents, including two appraisals and comps, saying this house was worth more than it really was. As a result I ended up over paying 50k for the house.

I didn't actually lose any money aside from about $1000 in closing costs, but my credit is ruined for the next few years and I won't be able to buy any more property until I re-establish my credit. I might actually make money after all the dust settles in my flurry of lawsuits, although collecting from these scumbags will be difficult.

I'm still young though, and i will be older, smarter, and have more money to work with by the time i get back in to the real estate game.

yes after beating nl 50 i gave nl 100 a second try after failing the first shot(3 buy ins down).but today i won 5 buy ins which is very much for me 500$$$$$$$
this week was very hard...after writing all my exams we drunk each day in this week...(12beer/day).i dont want to die this week so i stop drinkuing anymore for some days!!!haha;P
its very cool to see myself an nl 100 player ...my rush was incredible..weeks ago i ran bad at nl5 and cried but today i think i learned enough to stay confident in bad times!
thats why i will thank all my firends here...
my plan for the next weeks is to grind my way up at nl 100 and switch to a conservativ bankroll management this means i will w8 for 40-80 buy ins to move up.
the coolest thing on my site is that they told me that they get a shop and ivenear 50k fpps...its amazing coz i like 50% rakeback, deposit bonus, more fish as on party, and now a shop...dunno how good this shop will be but a shop isa shop and the shop will be developed!!
so my target is to finance myself get away from bad plays and try to beat nl 100 hardcore!!! i dont want back!!!
so afterall ive to smoke a shisha tochill a lil bit with friends!

ahh btw u can beat nl 100 with 16% vpip easily!

Again and again. When I sit in front of computer there has to be something wrong.. and of course, my new computer ( it's only 1 year old ) fucked up today. I was playing a session on Unibet and instantly everything was frozen and I had to restart PC. And what did I see ? An error which said about some problems with disk ( hard drive probably) and I had to restart it again, again, again, again and again. And nothing happend obv -_-. God I'm so pissed off. Since I had something to do with computers I've been so unlucky with them.

I wish I wasnt so lazy so I could download pokergrapher cause I bet my graph for the last few days would look nasty. I bounced up 20k in two days, crashed and lost 9k the day after that and recovered 9k~ today. Variance is a bitch but alot of the swingy comes from my play shifting from really good to horrible from session to session.

Life is good. Lps new private lesson thingy is nothing short of awesome! I used to be a bit torn about the whole thing but Ive come to realize how great this is. The coaches are really generous sharing their trade secrets for less than they would make an hour playing, and I think there is no end to what kind of improvement you can reach by taking private lessons with a great player. Im thinking of signing up for some lessons with tomson or Roman some time in the future. Would be cool just to get some diffrent inputs and perspective from great pokerminds.

Also, SC2 is fucking coming bitches! I just wish ppl could stop hating on the poor game. Blizzard wont make the same misstake they did with war3, and sc2 will fucking rule. Remember who said it first.

I cant wait to sit on vent playing degen betmatches when we are all noobs. AWESOME!
