This is so sick ... i think im gonna go all-in PF all the mother fucking time with these, seriously this is so fucking sick. Got like 2-3 pocket aces at end of my session, cracked. Got Kings, they got cracked also. So, since today was really my last day to play in May, I decided I wasn't stopping until it was a 1k day. I made it, but it took the insane grinding demonstrated below:
Lot of coolers, bad beats, and more than my share of lucky breaks. KK was a loser for the day (only down $4 though), and is currently up a total of $30 for the month. I swear, every time I get dealt KK now I'm sure someone else has aces. Not sure if I'll have time to get in a quick session tomorrow before I leave for California. If not, this will leave May at a little over +$3k all told, which is about the same result as last month. I plan to grind a TON of NL $200 in June, and I'm thinking of setting a +$10k goal, which will require me playing a ton hands, and running well. I think I can put in the hands, as evidenced by my two 5k hand days this past week, and my total of 25k hands played over the last 8 days. Let's say 75k hands and +$10k in June?
I played a liiiiiittle bit too loose today, but it might not be all bad as I finally found myself catching a lot of bluffs where I previously folded so while I definitely overdid the looseness in some cases (like in one hand I posted.. oops) I think it might have been positive as well.
Anyway, swingy as fuck session as I was playing somewhat high variance + making a few stupid plays + running like god for periods of time.
So yeah, 2nd time I'll give NL50 a shot, last time was back in february and ended badly (cause I got impatient and moved up with 20 buyins and got destroyed by variance + tilt + being worse than I thought I was).
At least this time I'll have a little bigger cushion against variance, be slightly better, and hopefully I'm not worse than I think I am.
The reason for the relatively few hands is that I've been busy obsessing about the SC2 announcement!

So I woke up this morning and told myself that I'm going to just 2 table and see if I can play the best poker I can play for 1 day. Now before I started, keep in mind I haven't 2 tabled in like... so I've never 2 tabled ever. Anyways, the day started with me stacking a donkey with my bottom set, and then making a super thin value shove vs redgrape that got him to tank for a good 45 seconds before he folded (so close yo~!). I played for like 4 hours today which is how long I normally play, and it was one of the most stress free days of poker I've ever had. It was just really refreshing to concentrate on only 2 tables. As for my results today, I finally jump-started the money making machine again -->
Only got in 1215 hands today, but my winrate over that time was pretty sweet and finally a $1.5k day. I think I'm going to go back to NL400 tomorrow and just 2 table to start off my day again. Let's hope this is the start to great things!!!

This is my stats for the early part of May while I still played mostly on my desktop. Seems like the first 11k hands or so I was playing pretty shitty and putting myself in positions where I wasnt expected to win much (spew?)The latter part of this sample, I started playing better/flopping good draws and shit. But, my net run was like -1k some or something, so that sucks. Guess I could be up more this month
Btw, my desktop seems to not be fast enough to run the whole 100+k hands I have in the current database, and pokerev software doesnt let you do date ranges like good ol' PT. Any suggestions as to how I can solve this problem?
So last night I decided to take a shot at NL 400, mixing in 4 tables with my regular set of NL 200. That went really well... not. Just got absolutely effed by the deck, made a couple bad plays, and ended the session down 2k total, which really sucks. Anyway, I also cashed out like 2k today to go towards paying for school, so my BR is way down. Gonna be grinding NL 200 like crazy for the next couple months, I guess.
Well I am sorta unpatient, I tought I could remake for some shitty beats I had today by obsing some players at higher stakes and just join for a few hands and trap them. Here basically what happened after I find this guys who raises a very high amount of hands with basically nothing:

week after my lesson with NOLAN i've been crushing 25 NL. So much so i can finally move up to 50 NL. Exciting time for me as i've been donking around in cash games for about 4 months now. Feels really good to finally move up. My focus and drive is a lot better these days.

Overall it wasn't a bad day... I learned a lot of things today at the cashgames, although my tourney play sucked badly...
Started off with some poker in the morning, then me and my mate decided to go down a random river in rubber dingys all day which was mass funny, going down weir's in one of those is crazy.
Also got some crazy fucking swan charging at us in the river. So we had to fucking dive out the boats and get onto land (yea we are pussies we even had oars and shit to fight back, but swans are the queens animals you know, cant hurt a swan).
On land we fucking ended up in a field of bulls, so we were trapped with bulls one side and a really pissed off swan the other, walked down a bit then the bulls started running at us, so we thought fuck it and dived off the side into the water with our dingys.

Ended up in some tiny shit town in the middle of nowhere, with a sign saying "fordwich, britains smallest town". Had to walk all the way fucking back and infact gotta still go pick up the boats in a minute. Good times.
Then came back here and put some more poker hours in. Entered the 3+30 10k rebuy on stars too.
Both went pretty well tbh. Busted in the tournament in a really gay fashion (as usual). AQ vs A7 aipf, he hits 7, no Q for me, then im down to like 60k when average is 140k, very next hand i get dealt 99 and the chipleader raises it, i push over he flips over AA, gg my tournament. Busted in like 83rd for $37 only. Bit pissed off really.
If i didnt do so well in cash games today id be really pissed off about the tourny, but instead im just a little annoyed, pleased with myself for getting so far more than anything.

My current BR is therefore at $970, if i include the $52 donk money i got at titan which i can almost withdraw, it takes me up to being rolled for NL50! I wont move up yet though i feel ive got a lot of nl25 still to play in me but if i keep playing the amount of poker i am currently, it wont be long until i am playing nl50.

It ended a very nice session, i was swearing like crazy for like 1H after that, my wife asked me why i was so upset about a game, Rofl.
Today i planned to play 8 tables and very tight to see how it works, im still experimenting and looking for how to beat my limit (NL10).
