PokerStars is a bitch... a very very cruel bitch to me. I just can't win crap there so I went to Titan Poker to try to grind a little bit more my $50 free promo.

Started the session with $101 and made $45 in 1 hour.

I want to reach 2000 titan points so I can improve my status to Silver so I'm gonna be playing there a lot till the end of the month to achieve that.

Now Im gonna take off to watch 2:30hours of TV: Two and a half men 1st, then Smallville and closing the night with Supernatural.

Well, almost. Im running so baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad its fucking sick. Im getting totally fucking pwned. Most of it isnt even coolers, its just me getting fucking colddecked all the time, getting in to weird marginal spots and such. Some of it is bad play and tilt aswell, cant deny that.

Im to crushed to post any hands but just look through my last few hands ive posted to get some idea of how pwned i actually am.

I took a break from poker a couple of days back after dropping 15k in two days. Today was supposed to be my comeback but I managed to drop another 15k instead. yippiekayey!

Anyways, I guess this is to be expected after running like jesus for 3 months so Ill just have to suck it up and move on.

What sucks the most about all this is how easily im thrown off my A-game. If i always played my absolute best I wouldnt worry too much cause I would know its just variance and I will bounce up again soon enough. But I keep making questionable plays and we all know how those turn out when youre running bad. This in turn tilts me cause I get really really frustrated with myself which causes me to make more retarded plays and so on and so fourth.

Fuck this, ill drop down and beat at the 2/4 morons for a couple of days to regain confidence. 30k downswing aint no thang!

SInce my recent bad beat streak i rarely play any Poker at all.

Today i just played 3 2,50 $ Sng ...
but i still have incredible bad luck.

1st SNG i got pocket TT in Late position.
i raise 4BB everyone except the BB folds.
BB calls.

Flop
479 rainbow.
BB raises Potsize
I push all in . ( I expect him to have A9s A7s AJ, AT A4 88 here most of the time .. while i am aware there is also a small chance i am beat here with 77 , 99 or 44)

he calls and shows QQ ....#

2nd SNG.
I call with J9s and hit a Flush
i raise -> get reraised and finally push all in.

I have a Flush Jack high on the flop ... i cant fold this ...

Villian Shows Q4s and wins with a flush Q high.

How likley is it 2 people flopping a Flush ? ( i bet not very likley but happens alot more than it should T_T)

I was actually running pretty damn good at first.
Got Ace high flush on the river vs a 6 high flush and a slow playing QQ who played check check allin on river. (only undercards)
So i went from 1000 tp 3000 chips very early.
after that i didnt get good hands and played very passivly.
when 5 people where left i was 2nd most in chips with about
2900.
then i got incredible preflop cards 3 times in a row
I got AA and raised... everybody folded next hand
I got QQ and raised ...everybody folded next hand
I got KK and raised .. the chipleader pushed all in over my raise

Yeha i raised 3 times in a row and he was probably really thinking about me stealing blinds wth A3 and such sttuff.

I was so glad when he pushed and i called.
HE showed AJo while i showed KK ( this is like 72-28..)

of course i lost due to him hitting an Ace....
Finished Tournament in 5th place.

Okay so nothing special for me

Then i made a little experiment.
I took a dice and threw it.
1 and 2 giving the underdog a win and 3 4 5 6 giving the King the win.

This is a 70-30 situation like it often appears in Poker.

here are the results.
First try 2-10 in favour for the kIng
2nd try 2-10 in favour for the kIng
3rd try 3 - 9 King
4th try 2-10 King

Overall 9 - 39 for kIng -> 80-20 for the favourite.

now I am somehow schocked how i can loose so many 70-30 situations in Poker T_T

I just dont understand it.

i'm severely underolled for it, but i'm trying to get a feel for the cash games at AP. i've had success with sngs so far (got back on track after a bad run; playing better AND on a slight heater atm).

note: they also have microlimit blackjack where the min is 10c and the max is $20 (higher levels are 100x minbet for max)...so i've been doing the standard double-bet-after-every-lost-hand and i'm up $20-30 easily. is this sustainable? i already ran into the max bet once and lost, giving me a -$30ish session, but i'm still up overall so idk. i can easily just reset and grind back up when the bet reaches like $6 or something...

This Mornings First 500 Hand Session on 50NL, -$60.00. The largest pot I won was $9.00! This is basically the third day in a row like this. Thank God for bankroll management because pokerstars is raping me in the ass.

I always like reading other LPers blogs, but never thought of making one myself. Today I had a horrific session, and wanted to create one to perhaps ease my dulled frustration.

Today was -2021, -10BI at NL200. Basically, I wiped out my entire earnings for the month (although I didn't play that many hands), and I wanted to post my hands for comments and to get them out of my brain.

I can categorize my losses into 3 major categories: beats, brags (getting it in badly) and variance (failed bluffs). I'll start off with the beats ;o

So i'm on a major downswing and pulled out most of my bankroll on star left $10, so i'm playing 1.20 45's and 3.25 turbo 45's. picked up a few wins and my BR is up to a grand total of $44.79 yay!

discipline is definitely something i need to work on... i need to stop jumping up to mtt's my BR/ skill can't afford.

After a succesfull weekend I now believe that I can play poker as a job over the summer to earn some spending money for my first year of college next year. I grinded $10NL all weekend (6k hands in 8 sessions). Ive been 6 tabling since i only have 1 monitor. I plan on moving up to $25NL when i have about $700. I would like to make about 5k over the summer, I think im more than capable. I get off of school in a week so i will probably be playing about 50k hands a month.

Well after a really though month this is effectively a break-even month, after more than 30k hands all can i say is thank god may ended, hopefully after i start vacations june will be a better month.

After moving my "roll" to FTP, I got it up to 78. Then I realized I had no interest in online poker. I just didn't feel like playing. Also, FTP's software put me on tilt by looking at it.

I have been playing live a little bet, and have done really well. I doubled my $50 in a tough .25/.50 game, turned my $20 into 50(3 outer prevented 70) in a .20/.40 game, and $20 into $35 in a .10/.20 game. I was making a lot of plays at the .10/.20 game and donked off 15 bucks because it didn't seem like much. I still play too scared .20/.40+ but a little stupid at .10/.20. I hope it's because the .20/.40+ game is tough, because no one plays .15/.30 lol.

I recently got transferred $20 on stars so I could play some non stressful poker. The problem with that is that it's just kinda boring playing straight up ABC poker so I look for tables with ultra LAG donks. At what level can I actually start making plays? From the small experience I have from NL50, there appears to be some play there, but I was playing on somewhat scared money. Any input would be appreciated.

Everything is going my way. Or at least is going to go Finally I got my computer back - everything works just fine !

So now sth about poker.
I started playing tourneys. I think they are really profitable to play and it's not that hard to get in the cash. It's a next step in my poker career. I realised it will be very helpful in my future,( poker future I mean , WSOP etc. ^_^ )hopefully I'll win some major tourneys soon
I feel pretty comfortable to play 200nl now after I started winning somethin and working on my game. I believe I could beat this stakes but I just have to play my A-game and be really patient. I get angry to often and it's a leak that I have to fix.
I'm going to put some hands in June. I'd like to play at least 1,5k hands/day. My goal is to win about 8k more till 5th July. It'd be really nice if I had $16k while being 16 yrs old I do feel I'll be able to reach it. I'm much more motivated than in this shitty month of May.

Life is going good too. Lublin ( the city I live in ) was today the hottest place in the Europe :D 30+ degrees. I can feel summer finally ^^ this week is probably my last one in school. I'm not going to go there anymore in this school-year since I don't have to worry about getting into high school cause I've got maximum points ( I was 2nd in this german exam, which I was writing about a while ago ). I hope June will be my best month ever, but everything can happen. Wish me all the best :D

Hey guys whats up

Soo May is almost over and it will def go down as my worst month of my short poker career. I am down about 10/15BI overall even though I feel like I am improving everyday. Instead of being ridiculously angry at losing so much ( which I was before) Im starting to realize that it is only going to make me work that much harder to get to the next level. I want to be the best poker player I can and I am going to do everything I can to be that player. I am completely confident that my downswing is short term and Im ready to move past it.
On another note, I got my prom this week and then maddddd afterprom partying/ chillin at the beach and drinking all weekend so that should be awesomeeeeee. Anyways hope all the monies I am losing to donks is making its way into LPers hands
