So I've stopped losing that much, but I'm not makeing any money when I play either and I think the problem is a lack of playing my A-game. I'll just concentrate on my studies for a while since it's a big ass test soon and then I'll log some sick hands this summer.

lol played hour and a half session 8 tabling on stars. Got aces 5 times which is awesome. Somehow lost almost a buy in with that which is not awesome. Despite todays varaiance session I think I played really well and only ended up down close to a buy in.

So I just bought my new Adidas football soccer shoes today. They are the shit. They cost me around $100 but are totally worth it. Looking forward to next saturday's game in which I got to score at least 3 goals, considering I scored two goals this weekend with my old and now newbie soccer shoes ;D

Poker session was good today. Although I had a couple of badbeats and sick sets vs oversets, I had good results.

The last three days were shitty. It just seems like I can never keep my cool at 100NL for whatever reason. On 50, I'm fine. A lot of the times I just shrug it off. Not sure why at 100, I just go piss spew after a couple suck outs. Anyways, the last three days is best described by this graph

Combine this with my earlier entry, you can see that May could've potentially been a very good month. Buttttt its not. I think I'll end the month up about $650 or so.

I'm really starting to wonder if I've reached my plateau as far as capabilities go though. Its starting to seem less and less likely that I'm being fucked over by anything besides my inability to beat 100NL.

As far as superstitions go, the last Saturday of the last two months (April and May) have both been atrocious. I'm down combined 18 buyins for the two days. Maybe I wont play next time they have the monthly $100k.

Lastly, this month has been my biggest VPP/FPP month by far. Racked up 21047 VPPs, which is a lot to me considering I mainly 4 or 5 tabled during the last half of the month. Currently standing at close to 86k VPPs for the year, so I'll be at supernova maybe end of June, early July, thereabouts. After that, all FPPs go towards this.

1834 hands 8 tabling, ran hot and almost never slowplay hands, less benefits, all gone in 2 hands: 1 where im favorite 80% for more than 1 BIs and the other one where my flush hits on turn and run into deep stack donkey's flopped boat. Standard, managed to only lose 0.5 bis...

History on villain is he's a total donk minraising shit oop but manage to suck his way out all the freaking time, so when my flush hits im pretty sure he's holding trips, didn't give the low stake credit for anything so i shove and lose. Any toughts ? or is it ok to go broke here ?

Cosmo posted a nifty program (pre-release) that calculates your EV vs your actual winnings. It doesn´t seem to work properly for me, though.

For example, says my total winnings on NL are $110 and my expected were -$488, compared to my actual winnings on Pokertracker of $300.

I´d be the first person to admit I was running well, but it´s circumstancial luck rather than plain suckouts. Ie my opponents suck and I´ve been dealt a lot of face cards.

Anyway, I am satisfactorily rolled for 50NL, and have $175 to fall back on before I hit the standard 25 buyin rule.

My sister´s birthday today so I decided that while everyone´s distracted this is a perfect oppertunity to get drunk and watch Starship Troopers and the finalé of Heroes.

I gave her Jeremy Clarkson´s biography and spent a rather elongated time helping her choose what clothes to go out in. No it wasn´t an excuse to be in the room while she gets undressed; I just really like womens´ clothing.

Anyway here is a PT screenshot. I will commence at 50NL/PL tomorrow!

Today I put my bad run between April and May onto the PokerEV Software just to see how bad I was running... and oh boy... it was bad. For those of you who dont believe that I got unlucky, just check this out:

Almost this entire graph takes place at NL200 on PokerStars.

Translation of the graph goes as follows, the red line is what I should be making at showdown (true Sklansky bucks). The blue line is what I actually won at showdown. So you compare the difference between the red line and the blue line. The aqua line is my Equity Adjusted to total winnings, which basically is an estimate to what I should be winning adding in all the pots I won w/o showdown as well. At the bottom is my Total Winnings over that time period. Suicide eh?

There is over $4k difference between what I should have won and what I actually won. That's pretty freakin sick... Been running better recently, which has been good. Compared to my past month I feel like I'm running like god again. Let's hope this keeps up!

Okay... so it’s been awhile since I updated. Sorry about that. I finished my internship at the finance firm. Didn’t get a job out of it which is kind of good because it would have meant a hell of a lot of busy work and a bitch of a commute. Also means more time to play poker/ work on the site... so these are pluses. I haven’t gotten to play too too much recently. I made 13,000 vpps in 1 day though during the stars 10 billion hand promo, 12 tabled 2/4 and 3/6 for way more hours than was healthy. I took some shots; played the 10/20 NL game on stars (which can run easier than 5/10 for whatever reason), ran pretty bad, ended up losing like 5K but I had a couple big sessions before it (+4500 the 13K vpp session etc.) so it evens out I guess.

What else.. Well I graduated, so that’s pretty sweet. Had a great prom, great after party... Can’t complain really. Now its summer, got a week to chill out. Our actual graduation is next week and my grandparents are coming up for it so that should be cool. Then I’m going out to Vegas with Andrew. If any of you guys are going to be out there we’ll be there from June 4th- June 9th. Hit me up and we can exchange numbers, meet up.

Havnt playd much over the weekend at all really.

Only got in about 500 hands on saturday, and today put in a 1k hand session.

Have run insanely bad over these hands which is quite annoying seeing as i was so close to moving up. Oh well, more nl25 for me.

Down about 5 buyins in 1.5k hands is pretty harsh especially since its not from bad play (i think). Just all my cbets being reppopped, all my cards missing etc, then the setups too.

Yup, still just reading poker shit, taking a few days off. Going to try to 6 table for 1 week instead of 9, and see how my results come along. Going to post my stats for May 14-20 (nothing blacked out). I'm not going to post stats for May 21-27 because i haven't really been playing this week so I don’t see the point. I only have about 3,000 hands so screw it, I think I broke even anyways because I was playing when I was a little tired and making stupid plays.

I've also been watching movies these past couple of days, saw Harry Potter and the goblet of fire, and 28 days later, watching The usual suspects, and so far and there all amazing movies. Also I’ll be going to Canada’s Wonderland this coming Monday so that should be fun. Anyways, just making a quick blog because I’m going to play basketball with some of my brown paki friends. Today is my first time that I am down more than a BI since I move to william hill. I am also busted on ub, where I left 20 there so I can play some hands when my rakeback arrive and lost KK vs AA. Standard stuff, but still piss because I can do with 20 more dollar, should have just play Roshambo with my rakeback.

Played on a crazy table, lots of action and stuff and I kind of got into a war with a guy. Some hands below to show % of winning means nothing before the river.

Tournament tips thanks to nusthot2

In the past 2 days I've been railing nutshot2 in his PS tournaments (in which he has achieved at least 3 Final Tables) and have learned a lot of important things that can help my tournament play. I've also known and practice the importance of raising preflop. Even if you don't have a hand, but you raise preflop, and If you bet the flop and your opponent didn't flop anything, even when you have aboslutely crap, they will fold. Sometimes things don't go well thanks to pokerstars, like in this hand:
