I've been playing poker for almost 2 years and i consider myself hopeless about it. Until a couple of months ago i was mainly playing cash games with a very marginal winning rate. Now i'm playing tourneys and from time to time cash games bouth on Poker Stars and Party Poker (I did made an account on PP where i have a tiny bankroll).
Playing tourneys is/was hopeless too. Now i'm concentrating on 1 table SNGs where i manage to make a 16% Av. ROI. Thinking about how it goes i can say that they have the potential to be quite a ***** gold mine for me. We'll see.

its strange going from a solid 25nl winning graph to a very swingy style @ 50nl. especially notice im spewing with AK a lot preflop (4bet shoving it vs a limp reraiser hah), guess ill remove that from my game a little

Tonight was fun, I managed to get a microphone hooked up on ventrillo for the first time, before I was just able to listen to the audio of others, so it was nice to be able to speak too.

Unfortunately, my 56k is pretty slow, so it was pretty choppy when I was talkin over vent, still better than nothing though. After watching DooMeR's session for a couple hours I started my own, but couldn't manage to get anything going and lost two buy-ins. I lost to 3 different two-outers on the river, as well as a couple other sick hands that were unavoidable.

Heres my stats from tonight;

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 1694 hands and saw flop:
- 99 out of 223 times while in big blind (44%)
- 37 out of 218 times while in small blind (16%)
- 149 out of 1253 times in other positions (11%)
- a total of 285 out of 1694 (16%)
Pots won at showdown - 29 of 57 (50%)

Pretty annoyed, hopefully I can take down 1-2 of the 2700 FPP SnG's tomorrow for a nice profit, Got around 5k in my account waiting to be used.

I'm enjoying NL25 alot, and know that I'll start pwning it alot harder soon. Its weird, but I seem to never have a winning session on sundays, I wasn't even going to play tonight but after obbing doomers session it put me in the mood to pwn some.

No need to post any HH's here, they were all bad beats other than one hand where my kings held over top pair with a gutterball for a 2/3 stack.

Oh, I was also moving into a new apartment back in my hometown, but didn't sign the contract with the owner and have decided to move back to Taiwan to teach english. ($20/hr is sick nice, along with tons of perks that go along with being a foreigner living in asian society). I'll be leaving the USA the week of my birthday (Oct 3 - Oct 10), and plan to live in Taipei for atleast a year. I lived there in 2002-2003 for 9 months, but was a bit too wild at that age and had some drug problems so I came back to the states. I've grown alot since then and kicked all the drugs, and plan to do things right this time around. Its going to be damn nice to get back there.

So im thinking about the future in poker and if things keep going like this on NL200(from 400$ to 1k$ a day winning almost everyday for the whole month, up like 6 or 7k this month, even though I have played very little comparing to the ammount of time I played the months before) I have to think about hitting the NL400 tables somewhat soon.

Ipoker network doesnt have many FR tables running at NL400 (and I dont plan to play 6-max anytime soon).

So I was wondering, does anyone know which sites have many NL400 FR tables (or at least like 10 running so I would probably play on both sites at the same time), that offer nice rakeback/bonuses and that has a good affiliating system as well?

Id be more than happy to join with whichever sign up bonus code you want if it helps you get some % of rakeback and if the site/network/bonuses suits me. Its too bad that Prima doesnt have FR tables (at least not more than like 4 at NL200)

So today I was watching the history channel special on Ace Tracking and Black Jack. Ace Tracking or Shuffle-tracking is a mathematically-based approach, just like card
counting. In fact, shuffle-tracking is based on card counting.The premise of shuffle-tracking is that shuffles are nonrandom -by this I mean that the location of cards after the shuffle is tosome degree predictable. Counting is necessary to have some ideaof the favorability of different regions of the played cards, so that these regions may be tracked through the shuffle.

A common shuffle used by casinos is the "zone shuffle". Here, the cardsare broken into piles, and then the shuffling is only performed betweenthe piles. Thus, even with the uncertainty in pick sizes and riffs, a particular card has a zero percent probability of being in certain
portions (most of) the shuffled pile, and a high probability of being in one or two particular portions of the shuffled pile. Casinos do not use more thorough shuffles, because more thorough shuffles take more
time and reduce profits (and fortunately shuffling machines have not
yet caught on.)

So this made me think that this could be used in live poker. You could just have an overall view of what cards are coming or what cards your opponent has. I think this can be more applicable to home games rather than in casinos; mostly due to the various shuffling techniques. Well, this is just something to think about.

i totally rock at driving cars and today thought i might as well show you how ballers park a car. So you might say i didnt park it straight? wow, u just failed on the first point on ballers car parking 101. Simply, we just dont care about how we park.

secondly, i hate golf. so i start a round with my mother, hit two perfect shots on the first hole, a pair 5 and are going for a pretty short shot for the green. i pick my sandwedge wich later will turn out to be a fatal mistake. the shot is 20 meters too short and i get semi tilted. wtf i think, i didnt thought i was that wrong. whatever i think, ill give the sandwedge another shot. now its a short like 20 meters chip into the green and a short roll for the flag. ball flies 15 meters too long. gg, now im tilted for sure, i make another really bad chip and 3 put, gg hole. the next 2 holes i really dont care about what im doing becouse im so tilted and the whole round is almost destroyed, i end up picking up the ball on 3 holes, making 4 double bogeys and 2 bogeys and stopped play after 9 holes. gg life.

Its been awhile since ive updated my blog...
Ill start with the cliff notes

I am no longer busto. In june I was on a stake, since July I have been off it, and am quite robusto now.

I went to turning stone for the empire state champs. Met a bunch of awesome guys. All the LP guys were awesome. DF_Newb is the sickest person I know. Nolan may be white, but hes still gangster as shit. Pwnasaurus and Bonefone(Phwap) are really really cool guys, and unreal poker players.

I am starting school in about a week(YES IM GOING TO SCHOOL!?!?!@?!?@@!#). Illbe at Kent State University here in Ohio. I am way excited. I have been to Kent 3 times in my life, and gotten laid all 3 times. I figured that was a sign? So yea, I am def pumped to be back in school.

Since I am robusto now, I am looking to update a few things in my life, including my wardrobe, and my computer setup. As far as computers go, I guess I will probably just get the Macbook Pro 17". I can run parallels on it, and macs are way cool. Only thing is it is very expensive. Paying like 3500+ when all said and done kinda sucks . If you guys have any better, cheaper alternatives, please chime in.

As far as my wardrobe goes, I need new clothes. I dress very simple. Jeans, plain white t-shirt, and a hat. Since I am going to be in school again, I should prob dress better. Suggestions on clothes to buy? Was gonna get some lacoste clothes, but meh idk, I should prob just hire a fashion expert. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, now the long story on busto---->robusto. As you guys know, I tilt cashed out the rest of my money online a few months ago. I was on a ~70k hand downswing. Well, rnbsalsa offered to stake me. I took it up as it was a decent deal. A month or so into it, we take down the 50/50 on ftp. I then get off the stake and have a 4k roll. Since then I went on a little heater in cash games and have been doing pretty well.

Well I tried posting a sc but the internet is sucking balls now for some reason. I cant get it uploaded to imageshack. Basically, I have played 32k hands, and made 15.5k profit.

So yeah, I have done pretty well in cash games. I ran very well in July. Good game selection(notice all the shots I have taken) and running well = $$$$$$.

Now, onto what made me very robusto. Being at turning stone with poker players really motivated me to play. Hanging out with kevin and mario(bonafone and pwnasaurus) made me want to play mtts. Well, the night of ftops event #9, I decided to play all the nightly tournaments. I really wanted to play ftops too, so I asked russ if hed buy a % of me. He did. Well, like 9 hours later, we get 3rd for 99k. Ballin. Here is the sc of that.

So, I am now robusto. I am playing mostly 2/4 and 3/6. I start school in a week. I have my gaelic football midwest finals today, and nationals in 2 weeks(which is in Chicago!!!!!! sick) My life is pretty good atm. ballin

Okay, something is up with inline images in blogs. When I post the url it inserts a "< x >" into the url (no quotes or spaces). And, once I fix that it STILL doesn't show up when you click on the blog like (like from the left side menu) but if you look at comments then it works. See below posts for examples. Just thought I'd give a heads up if this isn't already known.
