Well, I decided to 12-table $6 SNGs after seeing Daut's CR video and I broke completely even. I got rivered too many times which made me miss the money every time but it was a fun experience.

Definitely not playing enough poker. I blame my friends who think what I do for a living is "lame" and "unproductive". I swear if I had the skills for a job that pays as good as this, I'd be doing that. But I don't have those kind of skills, so for the time being, this will have to do. This month has been pretty smooth for the most part, was kind of a grind in the middle of it, then out of nowhere I had a pretty killer 1.5 hour session just now. Here are some of the hands from it:

Winning 56% of my showdowns made me feel like god for once. Hands were holding, draws were getting there, I was winning half my coinflips! Shit was working like it was suppose to! Don't know how much I'm going to be playing for the rest of the month, might just take a break til next year. So here is december's PT:



Will someone explain to me how $440 an hour is unproductive?



Ship it ez. I hope next year I can win more than 45% of my showdowns. That would be nice...

I played a few hours of NL100 and had alot easier of a time there than a few months ago.

My bankroll is $4100, I'm going to continue to do tournies during the day and 12-18 table NL100 at night during the fishier hours.

I've had by far one of the best days of poker ever.

I woke up this morning and played a 1650 FPP qualifier for the 1k sunday million and won 1k.

Next I won a 180 man $12 SnG for another $598

Then I finished 1st in the $8 daily with 1700 ppl for 3k

ship itttttttttttttt!

I'm done with cash games, or atleast sticking to NL50 HU when im not playing tournaments.

A good friend of mine told me his philosophy on poker, which breaks down to working hard for your blinds you will keep them, and if u just run HU luckfests, the money will leave u faster than you can imagine

Licking my wounds after the atomic tilt where i dropped 2.5k within 3 days. I swore to myself i'll NEVER EVER let this happen again, it was just horrible and i felt so so bad at the time... Now i started the grind and im back at nl25, hopefully i'll be at nl50 in 2 weeks and nl 100 by the end of january.

I just discovered a place near my work holds some donkaments, 40$ unlimited rebuys before the first break and 100$ on sunday with 3 rebuys. I went there just to test the water and i lol'ed at the players, these guys couldn't beat nl2 for sure, they don't have a clue about what this game is about so i wonder if i could make some cash from them, im not too bad at tourneys.
I don't want to drop money like crazy trying to beat this army of poker zombies, dunno if i should give it a shot or not...

Non poker related stuff, we discovered at work some girl who is working with us actually made a porn movie once. I insta-dled it and zomg she got talent, too bad im married i'd have snap-fucked the bitch at work fo sure. If anyone want to see here, the movie is named "Canadian Beaver 2" and she's staring some random whore in Montreal's metro under the name of Dakota (lol). The bitch has a really nice ass but she's a terrible actress she should keep sucking dicks if u ask me.

I decided I can't really make 12 articles, without writing about stuff I don't want to write about or making them quite mediocre. But I will write at least 2 more I think. I want to get the next one done until 1st, but I'm not sure I will.
My next article will be about mistakes. Not about specific mistakes, but on the proper mindset about them.

On a side note, I'm starting to play better.

Disciplined grinding, no shots, no hu, no nothing other than NL2 mass multitabling and getting my game back together, and getting off tilt of losing 7k after winning it.

I've learned a shit ton, and fucked up a shit ton, but I'm not phased, I'm working up the cashgame ladder much deeper this time and following through with my word.

There is a $250 tournament on new years eve at my local casino that I would love to play in

I feel like I have a huge edge after I played in a $150 tournament on the day after thanksgiving this year and placed 14th and 12 paid and just from in general playing nl200 at the casino, ive met one good player who is a nl400 player at UB and he didnt seem any better than me.

I obviously cant afford this right now and im just throwing it out there that I would do it.

just an idea if anyone is interested.

Tonight I got sick of not playing cards so I forced myself to put $200 on FTP.

I started out 2 tabling HU @ NL100 and finished up 9 buy-ins. I was playin 4 tables at the end of it, was running really smooth and playing my best.

Happy christmas eve.

ummm, I've been massively playing halo 3 and not playing much poker, but im dominating FTP under my current stake and have won a sick amount in a sick small amount of hands, so I'm sick happy about that

I also won a $10 omaha mtt for a measly $200 or so, but was still cool.

Anyways, if you play Halo 3 you should add me to xbox live.

So this semester was pretty much awesome from start to finish. I got by with satisfactory grades for the most part (personally I thought I fucking ape smashed excellence into SDSU's grading system considering I didn't go to like 75% of my classes), and now I'm back home in Northern California just chillin with my old friends like the good ol' times. Decided to upload photos from my camera from the past week, kind of disappointed that I got no good photos from Vegas other than these:

Yea, thats about all the ones I could get from Vegas since they didnt allow flash photos in the Bellagio around the tournament area so all my pics of the tourney came out super blurry. So after coming back from Vegas I decided to chill in San Diego for a week with my friends, and my best friend from Hawaii flew down to visit since his school was finished as well.

Meet Kaz, he's like the chillest kid I've ever known. I've known him since freshman year of high school. He loves reggae music, smoking pot, and long walks on the beach obv. Anyways, he came on tuesday and we chilled around San Diego until my other friends finished their finals. Thursday night a bunch of us went to eat sushi, along with my boy Mike King (the guy I dressed up as for Halloween), which is a really rare thing since he barely leaves his house caz he's the laziest kid ever.

On Friday, Kaz cooked some awesome stir fried shit w/ white rice and we had a family style dinner. We headed to Typhoon Saloon in PB later in the night, and it was fucking freezing outside so we didn't really stay very long. We came back to my friend's house early, and that wasn't much better since they have no heater in their baller ass pad (what baller pad has no heater! No heater = No justice!) So they use a bunch of these portable heaters to warm up the house. Needless to say, they don't work so well...

Going to be in Norcal til the 3rd of January, then I'm not really sure what I'm doing after that. My grandma was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this month and she hasn't been doing so well in the hospital. Because of this, I am kind of up in the air on whether or not I'm going to the Bahamas this year. My parents think this might be the last Christmas we have together with her so the mood around the family house is kind of down. Doing my best to stay optimistic about it all, I'm not really religious or anything, but I think I might go to church on Christmas for the first time in a few years. For those of you who are religious, please keep Grandma CosMo in your prayers!
